ROMPER ROOM
The execution of four search warrants the morning
of January 26 led to the arrest of 10 juveniles and an
18-year-old man.
The charges against the individuals are related to
incidents of reckless conduct with a firearm and minors in possession of firearms and yielded the seizure of eight firearms, various ammunition, gun parts
and accessories, marijuana and liquor.
Three male juvenile suspects, ages 14 to 16, were
identified in connection to those incidents dating as
far back as October. The three are self-proclaimed gang members.
Investigators obtained warrants for their arrests on complaints of minor in possession of a firearm.
Three search warrants were executed at Enid residences about 6:30 a.m. by
members of the Enid Police Department, with assistance from Enid Campus Police
and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. Those search warrants were executed in the
1100 block of Ramona, 1200 block of N. 15th Street and 1500 block of N. Adams.
A fourth search warrant was also served this morning at the Ramada by Wyndham, 3005 W. Garriott, where the three wanted juvenile males were arrested and an
additional eight others.
Evidence was seized from each of the four locations where search warrants were
served that morning.
In addition to their warrants, the three wanted subjects were also arrested on two
additional complaints of minor in possession of a firearm, three counts of reckless
conduct with a firearm, possession of marijuana and visiting a disorderly house.
One of the three was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer and
resisting arrest.
One was booked into the Garfield County Juvenile Detention Facility and the other
two were transported to detention centers elsewhere in the state.
The remaining seven juveniles (four males and three females, ages 14 to 17) were
arrested and booked in the Community Intervention Center at the Enid Police Department and later released to a parent or guardian. They were all charged with
visiting a disorderly house. One of the seven was also charged with attempting to
escape from custody.
Alejandro Rojo, 21, was booked into the Garfield County Detention Facility on
complaints of contributing to the delinquency of minors and maintaining a disorderly
house. He was arrested at the motel along with the juveniles.

Colorado burglar busted after using Uber as getaway car for $8K plumbing tool heist
A Colorado crook carrying thousands of dollars
of stolen merchandise walked right into the police’s hands after he was caught trying to use an Uber as a getaway car, cops
said.
The bungling burglar was ransacking a plumbing store in the Denver suburbs
last week when he called the rideshare driver to pick him up.
The store owner had called 911 after noticing a hole cut in the business’ fencing and caught surveillance footage of the thief inside.
When the local Wheat Ridge police arrived on the scene, they discovered the
Uber driver waiting nearby.
He told cops his passenger “Jose” was headed right toward the car.“Are you
looking for an Uber?” an officer can be heard asking the suspect in bodycam
footage shared by the department.
The man — wearing the hood of his black sweatshirt up and a pulled-down
balaclava — shoots his gaze sideways and hides his hands inside his pockets.“Uh — no,” he stammers. He then gives the officers the fake name “Raul” as
he takes several steps backward and away from the cops.
He was immediately grabbed by officers, but assures them he is not trying to
make a break for it.Jose doubles down on his innocence and claims he is simply
on his way to his mother’s house.
When told he matches the description of the thief, he maintains he is not the
man they are looking for, despite not carrying identification to prove he is “Raul.”
The contents of his backpack, however, exposed the thin charade.“This backpack is full of Milwaukee tools,” one officer can be heard saying while rifling
through the loot.
Inside, cops found more than $8,600 worth of electric tools.
He was taken into custody, where fingerprint scanners confirmed his real identity.“It may not be the best idea to have an Uber pick you up AT the crime scene,”
Wheat Ridge Police said on social media.
A 26-year-old man by the name of Jose was booked the following day on a
plethora of charges, including theft of more than $2,000, criminal trespassing
and false reporting to authorities, court records show.

PLEASE, THROW
AWAY THE KEY
Kansas man Brandon Edward Joseph Lewis,
31, is facing a felony charge after he was accused
of sexually abusing his stepdaughter.
Lewis was featured in the January 2024 Woods
County edition for trafficking meth. He was incarcerated in the Woods County jail when charges were filed against him in the child
sexual abuse case.
According to reports, the victim reported the abuse to a Woods County Health
Department worker on November 29, 2023. A child welfare worker from the
Department of Human Services spoke to the juvenile female about the allegations. She told police that Lewis has physically, mentally, and sexually abused
her. The victim said the abuse happened in a residence and a vehicle, all in
Woods County.
An investigator with the District Attorney spoke to the victim on December 6.
The victim said the abuse started when she was 10 and continued until she was
11. She said the last time happened in the summer of 2022.
The investigator spoke to the victim’s mom on December 12. She said that
she separated from the man in August 2022. The woman also said that her
daughter told her once that Lewis inappropriately touched her, but she didn’t
know any details.
The victim told the investigator that Lewis punched her in the forehead.
Her mom said that Lewis punched both her daughter and son regularly.
When she told him to stop, he said he was just joking.
Lewis is being charged with child sexual abuse. His bond was set at $50,000,
and he is scheduled to appear in court on February 13, 2024.
We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

facing several charges after she allegedly broke
into a building and set a residence on fire on
January 6.
According to court records, Mitchell allegedly committed multiple crimes at an address on
North 2960 Road. She set a building on fire. She
also broke into a residence at the address, presumably to hurt someone or to commit some

While at the address, she tried to drive away in a 2017 Dodge Ram without
the owner’s consent. She also attacked the owner of the truck with a hammer
and destroyed the window of a residence.
When officers arrested Mitchell, they found six grams of fentanyl and some
marijuana in her possession.
Mitchell is being charged with arson in the first degree, burglary in the first
degree, trafficking in illegal drugs, endangering human life during arson, attempted larceny of automobile, aircraft, or other motor vehicle, assault and
battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious injury to property, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She is scheduled to appear in
court on February 22, 2024.

14 | FEBRUARY 2024 MAJOR COUNTY Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty
FOUND NEAR
FAIRVIEW
A year-long cooperative investigation led to the
arrest of a violent convicted felon in Major County.
Major County Sheriff Tony Robinson announced
last month that his office and FBI agents worked
together to serve a search warrant Friday, January 19, at a location north of Fairview. The warrant
marks the end of a nearly year-long cooperative
investigation of suspect Joshua Nealis.
Nealis is a convicted felon with an extensive and, at times, violent criminal
history.
Nealis was taken into custody by federal agents on weapons charges of felon
in possession of a firearm. No other arrests were made at the time of the warrant and no other warrants were served in Major County that day. Firearms were
discovered and seized by federal agents during the search. Several other people
were at the residence who were questioned and released from the scene without
charges.
“The Major County Sheriff’s Office will continue to actively investigate all reports of criminal activity and will arrest if probable case is discovered regardless
of what persons may be involved. We will continue to work with other agencies
when appropriate and in the best interest of the people of Major County,” Sheriff
Robinson said about the arrest.
MURDER CHARGES
FILED
OBN Agents last month presented First-Degree Murder charges in Major County as part of
an investigation into a 2023 fentanyl overdose
death. Based on evidence from the OBN investigation, Donald Lawrence Dutcher has been
charged for selling fentanyl pills resulting in the February, 2023 overdose
death of Mandelyn Rachelle Hibbitt in Fairview, Oklahoma. Dutcher is currently in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for fentanyl
trafficking.
“Fentanyl claimed more than 600 Oklahoma lives last year, alone. My
agency is committed to aggressively targeting and arresting these fentanyl
