PONCA CITY MAN SENTENCED TO
30 YEARS IN PRISON FOR CHILD
EXPLOITATION
Jerrod Lee Sharp, 41, of Ponca City, was sentenced on Monday, October 21, 2024, to 30 years in prison, to be followed by
a lifetime of supervised release, for attempted enticement of a
minor. Sharp must also register as a sex offender.
According to court documents and statements made in court,
on July 17, 2022, Sharp began messaging a woman located in West Virginia whom he believed
to be the mother of two minor girls. Sharp repeatedly stated in his messages to the woman that
he wished to engage in sexual relations with both girls, and that he wished to travel to West
Virginia to meet them.
Sharp exchanged over 1,600 messages with the woman. On July 30, 2023, Sharp flew from
Oklahoma to Charleston, West Virginia, where he planned to meet the woman and the two minor
girls. Upon his arrival in Charleston, Sharp was arrested by law enforcement officers.
United States Attorney Will Thompson made the announcement and commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) West Virginia Human Trafficking and
Child Exploitation Task Force and the West Virginia State Police.
United States District Judge Joseph Robert Goodwin imposed the sentence.

OUT OF LUCK
On October 23, an Osage County judge sentenced a
man with ties to organized crime to life in prison for ordering the 2021 murder of a fellow Irish mob member. The
Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office and several partner
agencies handled the case against Zachary Millard, who
had been convicted earlier this month for the slaying of
Mitchell Roberts in Tulsa.
A collaborative investigation between the Tulsa Police
Department and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)
discovered that Millard, an inmate at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, had used a
contraband cell phone to orchestrate Roberts’ murder.
Attorney General Gentner Drummond underscored the importance of this case.
“This incident highlights how critical it is to keep contraband from entering correctional facilities,” he said. “When inmates gain access to prohibited items like cell phones, it undermines
the safety of both prison staff and the public. We must remain vigilant and continue strengthening our efforts to intercept contraband and hold accountable those who attempt to circumvent
prison security measures.”
Drummond praised the work of prosecutor Heather Anderson and agents Tom Helm and
Marlin Warren. The Attorney General’s Office also partnered with the Osage County District
Attorney’s Office to prosecute Millard.
“This conviction sends a strong message that prison gang members will be held accountable for their activities to perpetrate violence inside or outside the prison walls,” said Brett Mize,
first assistant district attorney, district 10. “I am grateful for the coordinated efforts in the investigation between the Tulsa Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security along
with the meticulous prosecution prepared by Heather Anderson and the Attorney General’s
Office. I am proud to have played a role in helping achieve justice for the victim and his family.”
“For years, this violent gang member’s crimes brought fear and devastation to our community, and today justice has finally been served,” said HSI Special Agent in Charge Travis Pickard,
who oversees that agency’s operations in North Texas and Oklahoma. “HSI is grateful for the
tireless work of our partners in law enforcement and the prosecution team from the Oklahoma
Attorney General’s Office, whose dedication ensured this outcome. We hope this sentencing
brings a measure of closure to the victim’s family and loved ones.”
Millard was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for the murder charge,
30 years for burglary, one year for conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, and five years for
gang-related offenses. Each count is consecutive, meaning each sentence follows one another and adds to the duration of the sentence.
Six co-defendants, also associated with the Irish mob, have already pleaded guilty to various
charges related to this crime: Ryan Scott Luna, Jacob Kyle Shelton, Donald Tippy, Jr., Kacy
Ray Delaney, Levi Dalton and Christopher Polhamus. The alleged shooter, Christopher Taylor,
passed away before charges could be filed.

AROUND THE NATION
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A Miami Beach Corvette owner faced an unusual situation when he discovered an
intruder trapped inside his car and asked him for help
to get out.
“My brother, this is not your car, this is my car,” Julio
Solano, the owner of the car told 33-year-old Ravesh
Rabindranauth.
“Can I get out?” Rabindranauth was heard asking
Solano while being recorded on the victim’s cellphone.
“No, you can’t get out. We’re calling the cops,” Solano replied.
Solano told a local news station that he was stunned when he returned to his car after
breakfast and found Rabindranauth sitting inside, pleading for help.
The incident unfolded at a parking garage on Washington Avenue and 16th Street in
Miami Beach.
Miami Beach police arrived on the scene and arrested Rabindranauth, who now faces
burglary charges.
Julio Solano believes that while Rabindranauth managed to break into the vehicle, he
was unable to start it or escape due to the car’s security system.
“The car’s electrical components don’t function without the keys, and fortunately, he
didn’t know about the manual door release under the seat,” said Solano.
Investigators said Solano had notified the owner of Premiere Auto Miami 1, an exotic
car rental company that stores its vehicles in the garage.
Authorities said Rabindranauth was read his Miranda rights and agreed to speak with
the officers. A routine records check revealed no local criminal history or outstanding
warrants.
Jail records show he is facing one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.
He was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where his bond was
set at $2,500.

THAT'S METHED UP!
In today’s episode of “Methed Up” we discuss
once again that if you do meth and run from the
law you will end up exactly like this!! Apparently,
David Helms didn’t get the memo though so he
“Methed Up” and learned pretty quick what happens when you have drugs on you and try to run from Deputies in Brevard
County (Florida)!!
Helms, who by the way could play John Goodman’s stunt double in the movie
“John Goodman Goes Back To High School,” fell asleep at the wheel of his truck
while sitting at the gas pumps at the Merritt Island 7-11 for about an hour, so the
store clerk called to report the suspicious activity!!
After the store clerk called the Sheriff’s Office, Deputies Alec Brannon and
Matthew McCarley arrived on scene and made contact with Helms who exited
the vehicle and took off running on foot!! While I’m pretty sure even “Junny”
could have ran him down, Deputies Brannon and McCarly ran him down themselves and tackled him for fleeing from the traffic stop!! Of course, the real reason Helms was running was because he had a bag of meth and a glass pipe in
his pocket and knew that he was just seconds away from taking the ride to jail!!
My favorite part of this story though is that once he was in cuffs, Helm started
screaming and whining like a little baby and continued to be non-compliant, so
he got handcuffed to the stretcher and transported to Cape Canaveral Hospital
where he was medically cleared for priority check-in at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge,
aka jail!!
Helms subsequently got booked into the Brevard County Jail on a total bond
of $4,000 for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest Without Violence. Of
course Helms also got a free “I Messed Around
And Found Out In Brevard County” T-Shirt so he
can show all his friends that he “Methed Up!!”

DANGEROUS DECISIONS
Two women from Coffeyville, Kansas, were
locked up in Bartlesville after they allegedly stole
some stuff from Walmart and took police on a
high speed chase on October 23.
According to reports, 36-year-old Jessica Barnett and 44-year-old Rachel Ann Inscho stole the
items from Walmart shortly after 6 p.m. They left
the scene in a blue SUV.
Bartlesville officers pursued the vehicle as the
suspects headed south. The driver, identified as
Inscho, reached speeds of nearly 100 mph and
almost hit another vehicle during the chase.
The pursuit eventually came to an end and officers arrested Barnett and Inscho.
Officers located two syringes in the vehicle that
were filled with a liquid that tested positive for
methamphetamine.
Barnett is being charged with a pattern of criminal offenses after the former conviction of a felony. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Inscho is being charged with endangering others while eluding/attempting to elude a police
officer, knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and leaving the
scene of accident unattended vehicle. Her bond was set at $50,000.
Both women are scheduled to appear in court on November 1, 2024.
