TWO TOO MANY
Two Pottawatomie men are facing felony
charges relating to child sexual abuse and child
sexual abuse material.
Jeremy Todd Conrad was arrested following a
targeted investigation led by Pottawatomie County ICAC investigators.
This arrest is part of an ongoing investigation.
Formal charges have been submitted, and the
case will proceed through the judicial process.
Also arrested was Connor Britt, who is currently being held at the Pottawatomie County Public
Safety Center on a $100,000 bond.

diligently to identify and apprehend individuals
who exploit and harm children through online

AROUND THE STATE
On June 22, 2025, the Laverne Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of
Investigation to investigate allegations of sexual
assault.
OSBI special agents began their comprehensive investigation and identified the suspect as
66-year-old Christopher Cassel, who is a pastor
in Laverne, Oklahoma.
Based on the information and evidence gathered during the investigation, Cassel was arrested and booked into the Harper County Jail on two counts of Forcible
Sodomy, one count of Distribution of Narcotics, and one count of Furnishing
Alcohol to a Minor. This is still an ongoing investigation at this time.
The OSBI appreciates the Laverne Police Department for their continued
assistance with this investigation.

DRUG DEALING FOR DUMMIES:
CHAPTER 5
In this month’s “Drug Dealing For Dummies” lesson, we discuss how not one single person
on the planet wants to put drugs in their body that you just shoved up your poop chute!! That’s
right...if you are gonna try to hide your supply of drugs, the last place you should think about
putting them is in your prison wallet, as who in the world wants to ingest something you just
shoved up your butt and then defecated out on the floor!!
While “Drug Dealing For Dummies” is a guide, some things shouldn’t need to be said such
as...don’t do drugs, don’t sell drugs, don’t sell drugs in Brevard County (Fla.), and without question, don’t try to hide drugs when you are going to jail by shoving them up your anus!! Especially
when we constantly tell you that no matter where you hide your contraband, we are still going
to find it through our X-ray machine or during the strip search before you are taken to a cell!!
I mean let’s be honest folks, there are not a lot of places you can hide drugs when you are
being stripped search, so for us, its really a matter of after we put on our gloves do we go in your
mouth first to search for drugs or your prison wallet first!!
Sadly, not everyone reads “Drug Dealing For Dummies” as
lRobert Plummer found his way to jail once again after he attempted to flee from Deputies who were trying to stop him on
his bicycle. Plummer was just arrested days ago for resisting and
trying to pull a gun from a bag when Deputies were taking him into
custody!! Now here he is again, doing the same exact crap and
earning another ride in our courtesy shuttle to the Brevard County
Jail after he physically resisted Deputies again!!
The only difference in this time and his previous visit just days
before, is when he was taken into the changing area last night
to put on his new jail attire, he defecated on the floor and out
popped three separate baggies of drugs!! That’s right, he copped
a squat and defecated three separate baggies on the floor that
respectively contained 5.3 grams of a substance that field tested positive for meth, 4 grams of a substance that field
tested positive for meth, and a baggie that contained
5.29 grams of a substance that field tested positive for
cocaine!!
Well, regardless of how crappy he acted, we still got
him a not so nice room with no view at the jail and a
slightly used pair of shower slides to make his stay more
comfortable after he was charged with two counts of
Introduction of Contraband Into A Detention Facility,
Resisting An Officer With Violence, Resisting Without
Violence, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia!!

On July 1, 2025, OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) served a Search Warrant at
DJX Farms, 7675 E. 131 Rd. Holdenville, Hughes
County, as part of an ongoing OBN MET investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation.
Operators of the grow were using an OBN Registration obtained by fraud involving a ‘straw ownership’ scheme. OBN MET Agents seized 3,853
plants and 118 pounds of processed marijuana.
Arrests are pending as this cases moves forward.
OBN MET was assisted by the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office & Hughes County Commissioners Office. Since 2021, OBN MET Agents have shut down over
6,000 illegal marijuana farms through enforcement and/or administrative actions
for grows tied to black market trafficking and obtaining an OBN Registration
by fraud using ‘straw ownership’ schemes. At the end of 2022, 8,400 farms
were operating with an active OBN Registration. Today, that number stands
at approximately 2,100. Citizens can anonymously report criminal drug and
human trafficking activity to OBN’s tip-line at 800-522-8031 or sending OBN a

In June 2025, Deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle
from the Kia dealership in Melbourne, Florida, that had been
taken off of the lot the day before by an unknown suspect.
Later that evening, the vehicle was determined to be in the
area of West King Street in Cocoa, and the sheriff’s team went
to work!!
Deputy Keith Grosse of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office
Ag/Marine Unit subsequently observed the vehicle in the McDonald’s drive-thru line, pulled up to the menu board placing
an order, possibly for a Hamburglar Happy Meal!! Dep. Grosse pulled in behind the vehicle like he
was lining up to place an order as well, and then shortly after, officers from the Cocoa PD arrived on
scene to help block the vehicle in!!
The driver and only person in the car, Kenneth Miller, was taken into custody, and interestingly
enough, he told Deputies that he didn’t have a driver’s license, but wait that’s not all… Miller is already out on bond for driving while license suspended with knowledge, resisting an officer, reckless
driving, and failure to register a motor vehicle!!
So he is already out on bond for doing dumb criminal stuff and then decides to go steal a car!
And here’s where the case gets even better, or how about juicier than a Big Mac, Miller matches
the description of one of two males who test drove that same vehicle a few days prior!!
When Kia employees came to retrieve the vehicle, they brought two sets of keys with them from
the dealership but only one set worked!! The good news is that the other set of keys to the vehicle
weren’t lost as they were in Miller’s pocket!!
BCSO Agents believe Miller and the other suspect switched the set of keys during the test drive
allowing them to come back and steal the vehicle with no problems. And to top it all off, the tag on
the vehicle was from another Kia dealership!!
Another criminal is behind bars on no bond…I’m lovin’ it!! Did anyone other than me just hear the
music play for the McDonald’s jingle?

NO MATTER WHAT
A convicted sex offender was arrested after authorities
discovered he had been living at a residence where children were present, violating state regulations for registered
offenders.
According to the affidavit, 59-year-old Timothy Shawn
Curtis was first contacted on June 6 after being evicted
from his previous residence and found parked at a home
on NS 3670 Road.
Seminole County deputies noted that children were living at the location and informed Curtis that he could not reside there under the conditions of
his sex offender registration.
Curtis, a lifetime aggravated offender, was advised to either stay in a motel or find alternative
housing. He was also provided with information for housing assistance and instructed to begin
registering weekly, which he complied with.
However, on June 30, deputies received information that Curtis had been living in his truck
at the same location and was using an extension cord from the house to power his vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that children still lived at the residence, which would be a violation of
Curtis’s offender status.
Upon arrival, deputies found Curtis in his vehicle.
Curtis admitted to staying at the location and using the bathroom inside the home. He
claimed he had no other housing options. Curtis was advised that he could not reside at any
location where children are present.
The homeowner confirmed that Curtis had been staying there since his eviction and admitted to allowing him to use electricity from the home. The homeowner said that he didn’t think
it was a big deal. He said his children were never around the man unaccompanied. He also
said he believed Curtis was caught in a “bad deal” when he was younger and that “he’s gay
and got caught messing around with a guy who lied about his age.” The man also didn’t think
Curtis was “a sex offender like that.”
Curtis is being charged with violation of sex offender registration act. His bond was set at
$25,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on August 7, 2025.
