pharr doesn’t get far
Guthrie man Allen Lynn Pharr, 21, gave officers a fake name and said he thought his
drink had been spiked after he led an officer
on a chase through McLoud on January 18.
According to the affidavit, a McLoud officer
was on patrol when he saw a truck speed by
headed north on McLoud Road at approximately 12:51 a.m. The officer turned on his
lights and drove after the man.
The driver, later identified as Pharr, sped
up, reaching speeds of 110 mph.
As he approached the intersection of
McLoud Road and Broadway Street, he
drove through a stop sign and lost control of
his vehicle, crashing into a fence. His truck
became stuck in the mud. Although he had
nowhere to go, he refused to get out of the
vehicle and kept trying to drive away.
When other officers arrived to assist, he eventually got out of the truck and
was placed in handcuffs.
Pharr told the officer he had been drinking and using synthetic marijuana
at a friend’s house in Midwest City. He also said he thought someone spiked
his drink.
The officer asked the man for his name and date of birth. Pharr gave the officer false information – dispatch couldn’t find anyone who matched the name
and date of birth he told the officer.
Pharr then told the officer to call his mother. He said she would confirm his
name and birthdate.
Instead, the woman told police her son’s real name and date of birth. She
said he was lying because he had warrants for his arrest out of Logan County.
Pharr is being charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, eluding/attempting to elude police officer, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of
drugs, obstructing officer and driving without a valid driver’s license. His bond
was set at $1,500, and he is scheduled to appear in court on March 24, 2020.

Charges filed against Nurse who Traded Xanax
Prescription for Meth to Undercover Officer
Attorney General Mike Hunter has charged
a nurse practitioner and a member of her office staff for allegedly trading prescriptions for
methamphetamine.
During an undercover investigation, nurse
practitioner and owner of Advanced Health
and Wellness, Patsy Wiseman, 47, prescribed
Xanax to the undercover officer, who disclosed
they had no medical need for the drug. The officer also told Wiseman they planned to sell the
prescription medication.
After Wiseman electronically sent the prescription to the pharmacy, she directed the officer to coordinate with her receptionist, Amanda Emhoolah, 41, who would receive the meth.
The investigation revealed this practice was
common for Wiseman and Emhoolah.
Attorney General Hunter said for a drug dealer to hold herself out as a health care provider
is a disgrace to the medical community.
“The vast majority of nurses, doctors and
others in the health care community are doing
exactly what they need in order to take care of
their patients,” Attorney General Hunter said.
“Unfortunately, there are some who turn to
criminal transactions that pose a real threat to
society. It is our job as law enforcement officials
to hold the outliers accountable for these actions to ensure the safety and
security of Oklahomans. I appreciate the Tulsa Police Department and the
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics for their work on this case and bringing it
to the attention of my office.”
According to court documents, a search warrant was issued for the office location where authorities found various drug paraphernalia, including
needles containing meth. A subsequent search of Wiseman’s home found
more paraphernalia, including meth and medication prescribed by Wiseman to alleged patients.
The duo have been charged with eight counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance not in course of legitimate business, conspiracy and failure to guard against diversion, and other crimes for their
alleged illicit dealings.
If convicted, both defendants face prison time, fines and fees.

A game warden in Texas stopped a pair of men fishing without valid fishing licenses.
One of the men didn’t have proper identification.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the man without the ID knew he had active
warrants for his arrest and in an effort to deceive the law enforcement officer gave the
warden the name of a friend. As it happens, the man whose name was given to the
warden also had warrants for his arrest, so despite his attempt to dupe the warden, the
man was taken into custody anyway.
While he was being booked into jail under the false name, the man admitted to his lie
and booked under his real name with the additional charge of lying to a police officer.
A 20-year-old college student booked into a Washington Sate jail for underage drinking was seen on surveillance video attempting to steal packages from beneath the
Christmas tree at the Pullman (WA) Police Department as he left the building.
According to Fox News, he soon discovered that one box was empty, one was a
tissue box, and the third contained women’s hygiene products. He quickly discarded
the absconded presents and made his presence scarce.
The Kitty Hawk (NC) Police Department posted an image of the front pocket of a
pair of denim jeans on its Facebook page accompanied by some “advice” for citizens
about their pants.
The post read, “We at the Kitty Hawk Police Department understand that some of
North Carolina’s laws may be confusing. We also understand that educating you about
the laws when you are being placed into handcuffs may be a little untimely. We thought
if we could avoid more paperwork, and you could avoid going to jail, we both win. So,
we have decided to post periodic educational messages on how to avoid going to jail.
Here is the first of many to come.”
The post continued, “Prior to wearing someone else’s pants, please remove all
drugs, drug paraphernalia, stolen goods or any other illegal items the ‘owner’ of the
pants may have left behind. ‘These are not my pants’ is not an affirmative defense. Glad
we could help.”
The post concluded, “Disclaimer: We are not attorneys nor non-attorney spokespersons and this message is not intended as legal advice. Please speak to an actual
attorney prior to wearing someone else’s pants with drug filled pockets.”
A Florida couple arrested for DUI reportedly attempted to have sexual intercourse in
the back of the patrol vehicle about to transport them to jail.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, officials said the couple—identified as 35-year-old
Megan Lynn Mondanaro and 31-year-old Seth Aaron Thomas—were seen attempting
to disrobe in the back of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office squad car. They had been
riding bicycles at night without running lights and reportedly came in close contact with
a motorist when a deputy spotted and stopped them.
Mondanaro was charged with DUI, exposing sex organs, unnatural and lascivious
act and resisting without violence.
Thomas was charged with threat against a public official, unnatural and lascivious
act, exposing sex organs and DUI.
Both Thomas and Mondanaro reportedly have lengthy criminal records.

March is National Youth Violence
Prevention Month
The National Association of Students
Against Violence Everywhere is a nonprofit
aiming to provide safer environments for
our youth. Its mission is to decrease the
potential for violence in our schools and
communities by promoting meaningful student involvement, education and service
opportunities.
SAVE’s Vision: Schools and communities will be safer and more secure, free of
fear and conducive to learning as a result of
students being actively involved in meaningful violence prevention efforts.
How It Got Started: SAVE was started by students in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989 after the tragic death of a classmate who was trying to break up a
fight at an off-campus party. A group of students who did not want this death
to be “just another statistic” took action and created a violence prevention
program.
Chapters: SAVE has evolved into a national association with chapters in
elementary, middle and high schools as well as at colleges and community organizations across the country. Today, there are more than 200,000 students
involved nationwide.
Activities: Student members take the lead in planning chapter activities by
using the three SAVE Essential Elements: conducting crime prevention activities, conducting conflict management activities and providing meaningful service through projects in schools and communities. SAVE chapters also plan
safety rallies and safety awareness campaigns, engage in peer mentoring to
younger students, and conduct fun and educational meetings.

28-year-old Jeremy Don Harrison and Kaira Rain
Pigeon, 27, were arrested for drugs after police
found drugs in their possession on January 16.
According to the affidavit, a Seminole County
deputy saw a vehicle make an improper lane change
and attempted to stop the car in the area of EW 117
and US 377. The driver, later identified as Harrison,
didn’t stop – instead, he continued to drive erratically headed north.
At one point, Harrison pulled to the side of the
road, but he didn’t stop. He kept driving until coming
to a complete stop approximately 500 yards north of
Highway 99A on US 377.
The deputy told the driver to get out of the car, but
Harrison refused. He put both hands out of his window and screamed at the deputy, “Show me your
badge!”
The deputy didn’t approach the vehicle since he
couldn’t see inside due to heavy tint. He once again
told Harrison to get out of the vehicle – Harrison just
kept screaming.
Harrison seemed insistent on getting the deputy to approach his car. The suspect’s vehicle also
wasn’t in park.
When a trooper arrived to assist, Harrison took his
foot off the brake and put his car in park.
The officers approached the vehicle. The deputy
once again told Harrison to get out. The man refused, so the deputy forcibly removed him from the
car and put him in handcuffs.
The trooper removed the passenger, identified as Pigeon, from the car.
After removing the passenger from the vehicle, the trooper spotted a 38-caliber
revolver in the console – the hammer was cocked back and the weapon was fully
loaded. The weapon was identified as stolen out of Weatherford.
Officers also noticed the odor of marijuana in the car. Pigeon admitted that she
had some marijuana in her bra. During booking, a detention officer also found a
bag containing a crystal substance in her bra that tested positive for meth.
Harrison is being charged with eluding/attempting to elude police officer, trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of controlled dangerous substance and endeavoring/conspiracy to deliver/manufacture/possess controlled dangerous substance.
His bond was set at $250,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on March
19, 2020.
Pigeon is being charged with trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of controlled
dangerous substance, endeavoring/conspiracy to deliver/manufacture/possess
controlled dangerous substance. Her bond was set at $100,000, and she is
scheduled to appear in court on February 27, 2020.

Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty PONTOTOC COUNTY 17 | MARCH 2020
A 26-year-old Stonewall man racked up some more
charges after he took a loaded syringe into jail after
being arrested for a warrant on January 18.
According to the police report, a Pontotoc County
deputy was driving through the Walmart parking lot
when he saw Dakota Joseph Clifford. The deputy
knew that Clifford had a warrant for his arrest. He also
knew that the man had been accused of stealing his
mother’s car.
The deputy approached Clifford and asked him if he
had taken care of his warrant. Clifford said no.
After confirming with dispatch that the man still had a warrant for his arrest, the deputy put the man in handcuffs. He asked Clifford if he had any
drugs on his person. Clifford admitted that he had a marijuana pipe in his
left pocket.
The deputy retrieved the paraphernalia and asked Clifford if he had any
syringes or narcotics in his possession. Clifford said no. During booking,
however, a jailer found a loaded syringe in the man’s boot.
Clifford is being charged with bringing contraband into jail. His bond was
set at $5,000 (previous bond revoked), and he is scheduled to appear in
court on February 19, 2020.
