Michigan high school shooter, Ethan Crumbley, faces four first-degree murder and terrorism charges. Crumbley’s parents, James Crumbley and Jennifer Crumbley, appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday on charges relating to their connection with the school shooting. The hearing focused on probable cause to proceed.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Crumbley pled not guilty to the four counts of involuntary manslaughter. (NPR) According to reports, they could face up to 60 years in prison.
All three Crumbleys are being held at the Oakland County Jail. The Oxford school shooter requested to be transferred to a juvenile facility, but the judge denied his request.
Mr. and Mrs. Crumbley’s next appearance will be held on January 7 after the defense reviews evidence.
