Investigators with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a fifteen year old male from
Mustang on July 19th following a week long
child pornography investigation.
“As our investigators were walking to the front
door, the suspect actually opened it, peeked
out. Apparently, by the look on his face he was a
bit surprised, and slammed the door shut,” said
Chris West, Canadian County Undersheriff.
Once inside the home, investigators realized there were no adults present, and secured the juvenile suspect until his
guardian/s were contacted, and returned to the residence.
While waiting for the guardian/s to arrive, Investigators executed the search
warrant of the residence and electronics. Once inside the suspect’s bedroom,
a forensic examination of the juvenile’s computer was conducted, revealing
over 300 videos and images of pre-pubescent child pornography depicting
children as young as 4 years old being raped and sexually exploited.
After the juvenile’s guardian/s arrived, investigators provided them with a
copy of the search warrant, and explained the situation. With their consent,
a forensic interview was conducted with the guardians present, and a full
confession was obtained. Because of the extreme nature of the child pornography that was being downloaded and distributed the juvenile was taken
into custody, and multiple electronic devices were seized. To date, preliminary
examinations of the electronics indicate over on thousand videos and images of pre-pubescent child pornography has been recovered and placed
into evidence.
“This case is absolutely one of the worse we’ve encountered involving a
juvenile suspect and child pornography. It’s hard to comprehend how anyone,
and especially a kid this young gets involved so deep into the hideous world
of child pornography,” said West.
The suspect was turned over to the Juvenile Detention Center, and the
case has been turned over to the Canadian County District Attorney’s Office
for handling.

Sexual Battery dui
Sayre woman Kayla Renee Loomis, 24, allegedly
used a stolen check to illegally purchase a stolen vehicle on July 19.
She later told an officer she was sorry.
According to the police report, a Sayre officer was
advised shortly after midnight that a vehicle had been
reported stolen to Mannford police. Officers believed
the vehicle would be at the corner of 11th and Main
Street in Sayre. The suspect had told one of her
friends that she was going to drive the car to Sayre
to see her dad.
The officer drove by the residence periodically to see if he could locate the
vehicle. His surveillance proved to be fruitful -- it wasn’t long before he saw
the car turn onto Main Street off of 9th.
When the car stopped at the residence, the officer made contact with the
driver, identified as Loomis. Dispatch advised that the license plate on the
vehicle didn’t match the car.
The officer asked Loomis if she had any idea about the license plate. She
said no.
The officer checked the VIN number on the car and was advised that the
vehicle was stolen. He told Loomis that she was under arrest for the stolen
car.
The woman’s father came outside to see what was going on. While
they were talking, the officer was advised that Loomis might have a stolen
checkbook in her possession. He asked her dad to look through her bag for
the item. Sure enough, the man located the stolen checkbook in the side
pocket of the bag.
Loomis apparently used a check to illegally purchase the car.
Loomis said she understood why she was being arrested, and she was
sorry for writing a check she knew would bounce.
The officer transported her to jail.
Loomis is being charged with unauthorized use of vehicle and knowingly
concealing stolen property. Her bond was set at $4,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on October 4, 2016.

explore specific issues surrounding domestic violence and its effect on Oklahoma. The goal for this event is to formulate recommendations to stimulate
changes in state policy and create initiatives to benefit survivors of domestic
violence statewide.
“Unfortunately, domestic violence is a serious issue in Oklahoma, affecting
thousands of families each year,” Attorney General Pruitt said. “This summit
is an opportunity to educate and increase awareness of domestic violence in
hopes that we can make strides toward preventing the tragedy of lives being
destroyed by violence in our state.”

Elk City man William Earl Burns, 19, was
arrested on July 24 after he ran some stop
signs and cussed at an officer. He said he
was just trying to get to his girlfriend’s house.
According to the police report, a Burns Flat
officer was sitting at Seminole and Cimarron
when he saw a black car pull of Highway 44
shortly after 2 a.m. As the vehicle turned onto
Sioux, the driver revved up the engine and
the car’s tires spun.
The officer followed the vehicle west on
Pioneer and noticed that car also had a broken taillight. As the car neared a stop sign at
Pioneer and Frontier, the driver failed to stop.
Instead, he rolled right through the intersection.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop in the 200 block of Iroquois.
The officer asked the driver, identified as Burns, to step out of the vehicle.
He then detained the man until he could figure out why he was driving recklessly through the neighborhood. Burns said he knew the officer was behind him, but he wasn’t gonna stop until he arrived at his girlfriend’s house.
Burns started yelling and cussing and asked the officer, “Why are you
always f------ with me?”
The officer told Burns if he didn’t stop cussing, he was going to be arrested for disorderly conduct. Burns replied, “F--- you.”
The officer put the man in the patrol vehicle and asked if there was anything in the car he needed to know about. Burns told him there were some
drugs on the front seat. When the officer asked him what kind of drugs,
Burns tried to change the subject. The officer repeated his question --
Burns told him methamphetamine.
The officer went to the man’s car and located a small baggy containing a
crystal-like substance that later tested positive for ephedrine and amphetamines. On the way to jail, Burns admitted he wasn’t sure if he came to a
complete stop at the stop sign -- he said he might have done a “California
roll.”
Burns is being charged with disturbing the peace, failure to yield for
emergency vehicle, failure to stop for yield sign and improper tail lamps/tag
lamps. His bond was set at $2,500, and he is scheduled to appear in court
on September 29, 2016.

Canton man Michael Arron Gould, 34, was
arrested after he allegedly assaulted some
police officers in a drunken rage on July 21.
According to the affidavit, a Blaine County
deputy was advised that a reckless driver on
Highway 51A was waving around a firearm
shortly after 9 p.m. The driver was also driving a vehicle that matched the description of
a truck that had just left the scene of a domestic assault and battery in Canton.
The deputy located the vehicle heading
southbound on Highway 8 north of Watonga.
He turned on his red and blue lights, but the
truck just kept on going. The vehicle continued traveling toward Watonga and even
passed another officer who had his emergency lights on.
The truck eventually came to a stop near the Watonga Municipal Airport.
The driver was identified as Gould.
Gould appeared to be intoxicated -- his breath smelled strongly like alcohol, and he appeared to be very sweaty. When the man exited his vehicle,
officers placed him under arrest.
While they were trying to put him in a patrol car, he struggled and resisted and kicked a Watonga officer several times in the stomach. They were
eventually able to subdue the man and put him in the car.
A records check revealed that Gould’s driver’s license was suspended.
While conducting an inventory of the man’s vehicle, police found an open
container of beer.
Gould is being charged with assault and battery on police officer, two
counts of threaten to perform act of violence, driving with license revoked
and transporting opened container of beer. His bond was set at $30,000,
and he is scheduled to appear in court on August 26, 2016.
