A Vian woman found herself in a Cherokee
County jail after she attacked her baby-daddy and
another woman with a shovel.
Ashley Webber, 27, was charged Jan. 20 with
assault and battery in Cherokee County District
Court.
According to court records, on Jan. 4, Webber
attacked her child’s father in the face with a shovel. She then attacked another woman that was inside the house by punching her in the face.
Police said the man had swollen, bloody lips
and scratch marks on his face, according to reports. Apparently, Webber was upset after she claimed she had received an inappropriate
text message from the man.
Reports also state the woman told police that Webber hit her in the left eye, attempted to
throw a lamp at her, threw several punches, and yanked her hair out. Police say they found
several clumps of hair in the apartment and the place was in disarray.
The man declined to file charges on Webber.
Webber was taken into custody and booked into the Cherokee County jail. She was later
released on a $4000 bond.

REWARD: AUTHOR ITIES SEAR CHING FOR SUS PECTS
IN OSAGE COUNTY CATT LE THE FT CASE
Special Ranger Bart Perrier and the Osage County
Sheriff’s Department are seeking information on the
theft of 12 head of calves that were stolen sometime between Tues., Nov. 11, 2014 and Wed., Nov. 19, 2014. from
an Osage County rancher located near Wynona, Okla.
According to Perrier the 12 head of missing calves were
pastured with the cows, and the calves were not weaned
at the time of the theft. The victim was out of town at
the time of the theft, and when they returned home on
Nov. 19, 2014 they discovered that the calves in question
were missing. The victim searched the pasture and did
not find any signs or carcasses that would support that
the calves had died.
Perrier said the missing calves were described as cross bred, black, red, mixed colored or
spotted in color. The calves vary in size from 250 lbs. to 600 lbs. All of the calves in question
have a “Box L” brand on their left hip and a notch under their left ear.
Anyone with further information regarding this case should contact TSCRA’s Operation
Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333 or call Special Ranger Bart Perrier at 918-275-4257. A
$2,500 cash reward has been collected and offered by the victim and TSCRA’s Operation Cow
Thief. This reward may be paid to individuals who can provide useful information leading
to the arrest and indictment of suspect(s). Individuals reporting information may choose to
remain anonymous.

Sequoyah man Mark H. Riffey, 38, was so desperate not
to go to jail that he lied about his name, tried to run from
police, hit an officer, and told everyone he had a bomb.
Unfortunately for him, none of that worked.
On January 8, at approximately 4 p.m., Sequoyah County deputies stopped a vehicle at the intersection of McGee
and Shurley in Sallisaw, because the occupants weren’t
wearing their seat belts. There were two men, two women
and two kids in the vehicle.
According to the affidavit, when an officer asked the passenger for his name and date of birth, the man told him
a false name. The deputy asked the man if his name was
really that, because he recognized the man as Riffey from a
previous encounter. The man insisted he was who he said
previously.
After dispatch confirmed there was no one by that name with the birth date Riffey gave
the deputy, the deputy told Riffey to step out of the vehicle. Riffey locked the door and told
the deputy he wasn’t getting out. When the deputy told him he would remove him from the
vehicle, Riffey yelled that he had a bomb and he would blow everyone up.
Police pulled Riffey out of the truck, but he was able to escape from their grip and take off
running. The deputies pursued him on foot. When one of them caught up to Riffey, he took
the man to the ground.
Riffey started kicking and punching the deputy and tried to get his gun. He didn’t stop
fighting until one of the deputies threatened to taze him. Riffey was placed under arrest.
Police found two baggies containing a white powder residue in the man’s pockets.
Riffey initially claimed police planted the baggies on him. He later admitted they were his.
Riffey is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of
child neglect, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, threaten use of explosive
device, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer. Bond was unavailable at time of print, and he was scheduled to appear in court on January 21, 2015.

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma Department of Human Services to impact the huge
social problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they
have a chance at a productive life. Children have the right to get
support from both parents and do not lose this right when a
parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children,
taxpayers often pay the cost of raising children. When children
receive public assistance and their parents pay no child support,
all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

Patrick Evan Trulock, 20, wasn’t very happy when his
mom told him he couldn’t borrow her car on January 10. She
ended up calling the police, and the Grove man threatened to
shoot officers.
Shortly after 8 p.m., Delaware County deputies were dispatched to a residence on E. 320 Road in Grove for a verbal
domestic. According to the affidavit, dispatch advised the
reporting party was the mother of the suspect, identified as
Trulock. Dispatch also advised that Trulock was threatening
to shoot police officers as they arrived at the residence.
When officers arrived on scene, Trulock was standing next
to a vehicle in the driveway. Trulock started reaching behind
his back. Police ordered him to show his hands, and after
several commands and being threatened with a Tazer, Trulock finally complied.
An officer found a cellophane wrapper containing three pills in the man’s hands. He told
officers they were Xanax, and no, he didn’t have a prescription.
Trulock was placed under arrest and taken to a patrol car.
As he was escorted to the car, he told an officer that the officers were lucky they caught him
outside, because he “had a gun inside the door and was planning on shooting [them] when
they pulled up.”
The homeowner confirmed Trulock had threatened to shoot police officers and had put a
rifle by the front door. He agreed to let police look in his house. Sure enough, there was a
rifle by the door.
Trulock’s mother told police she found drug paraphernalia in her vehicle after Trulock borrowed it the night before. When he asked to borrow it earlier that day, she said no. She said
he became angry and started breaking things in her house and flicking cigarette ashes on her.
She told him she was going to call the police, and he told her to “go ahead” and he would
“be ready.” She said he then grabbed a rifle and put it by the front door. He told her he was
going to “shoot at the cops when they come up the driveway.”
Trulock is being charged with plan/conspire/endeavor to perform act of violence, domestic abuse and unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a prescription. His bond was set at $3,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on January 23, 2014.

unsolved Cases
January 5, 1981, started as a happy day for Tracey Neilson. She was
celebrating her 21st birthday that day. The OU student ran several
errands in Moore that morning. Eyewitnesses put her home just before
noon. After noon, several friends and family called to wish her a happy
birthday. She never answered the phone.
At 5 o’clock that evening, Jeff Neilson, Tracey’s husband of only fi ve
months, found her dead inside their apartment at the Jamestown Square
Apartments in Moore. Tracey had been stabbed numerous times. Moore
police responded to the scene and began investigating. The next day,
the Moore Police Department requested OSBI assistance with the case.
During the next 34 years, dozens of OSBI agents would work on the case
following more than 1500 leads.
One of the best pieces of evidence in the case was a fi ngerprint. In the 1980s, matching latent
prints was time consuming and extremely diffi cult without a suspect print to compare with the
unknown print. In 1994, Jeff Neilson’s family helped OSBI convince Oklahoma legislators to
pass a law to fund the state’s fi rst Automated Fingerprint Identifi cation System. This system
could scan a database full of latent prints searching for matching characteristics. We all had great
hope this new fi ngerprint technology would identify that print. Sadly, to this day, no match has
been made to that print. But AFIS has helped solve hundreds of violent crimes in Oklahoma.
In the past few years, the OSBI laboratory began a cold case initiative. This project had agents
and criminalists looking through old cases to determine if evidence existed that new DNA
technology could produce fresh leads. Several items of evidence were recently tested – several
more are in the process of testing. But we don’t want to wait one more day to try to solve this
case. That’s why we are here today asking for the public’s help. One piece of evidence could give
this case new life.
For decades, agents have worked to identify the owner of a cable trouble assignment ticket
book. The last ticket in the book is for work at Tracey’s home at 11:51 the morning she was
murdered. On the bottom left corner of the book is a box for the employee name. We want to
identify the three letters written in that box.
OSBI is also off ering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction
of the person who killed Tracey. The Moore Police Department is putting in another $1,000 and
Tracey’s family is off ering an additional $5,000 for a total reward of up to $11,000.
If anyone has information relevant to this case, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017
or the Moore Police Department.

When a GRDA lake patrol officer saw a woman moving around
suspiciously in her car, it probably wasn’t what he thought it was.
On January 10, the officer was traveling westbound on 290 Road
when he saw the woman in her truck around 2:53 p.m., the affidavit states. The woman was moving in a “suspicious manner” in the
driver’s seat, so the officer stopped to investigate. When he turned
on his emergency lights, the woman started moving all over the cab
of the truck.
The officer approached the woman, identified as 42-year-old
Tammy Lea Barton. He soon realized she was only wearing a shirt.
He asked her why she was nearly naked. She told him she thought
something was biting her, so she took off her clothes.
As she spoke to the officer, he noticed she was trying to cover her purse with a jacket.
The officer allowed Barton to get dressed. He told her to exit the vehicle, because she was
making him nervous. When she did, he saw a white dildo in the driver floorboard.
The officer asked Barton about the dildo — she admitted she was enjoying some private
time down at the lake, because she was stressed out and had no privacy at home.
Barton’s little friend wasn’t the only thing found in the truck. The officer also found a gun,
marijuana, paraphernalia and an opened bottle of beer.
Barton is being charged with possession of a firearm after former felony conviction, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and transporting opened container of beer. She
was released on a $12,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 13, 2015.

tiger
Okay man Nathan Scott Tiger, 18, was
taken to jail after he admitted to robbing
an EZ Mart for “not very much cash” on
January 9.
According to the police report, a Wagoner County officer was dispatched to the
Okay EZ Mart due to an armed robbery. On
the way to the store, he was advised that
other officers were responding to a crash
on Three Rivers Road just south of Okay.
The man and vehicle in the crash matched
the description of the robbery suspect.
The officer went to the crash scene, and
he saw a car in the ditch on the east side of the road. Police recovered a brown wallet and a large kitchen knife from the vehicle that
matched the description of the weapon used in the robbery.
The suspect was identified as Tiger.
EZ Mart contacted police and told them $40 had been stolen from
the store, including a $1 bill with a recorded serial number used as
bait money. In the brown wallet that belonged to Tiger, an officer
found some cash, including the $1 bill.
The officer placed him under arrest and took him to jail.
Tiger agreed to talk to the officer, and he said he had recently been
fired from his job and was desperate for money. He decided to rob
the EZ Mart one hour before he committed the robbery. Tiger said
he took a large kitchen knife from his house and cut eye holes in a
beanie to use for a disguise. He said he felt calm during the robbery,
and he told the clerk to give him all of the money in the register. He
then left and headed to a friend’s house. He said he didn’t know why
he lost control of his car, and he wasn’t sure where his “disguise” was.
Tiger told the officer he didn’t get very much from the robbery and
if the clerk had not cooperated and fought back, he would have defended himself with the knife.
Tiger is being charged with robbery first degree and knowingly
concealing stolen property. His bond was set at $100,000, and he is
scheduled to appear in court on February 19, 2015.

We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money or
favor to not publish a photo.
Two men arrested in Houston are accused of stealing
an iPad and using it to take selfies that they unknowingly
uploaded to the owner’s iCloud account.
The men appeared in the photos displaying money they are
also accused of taking from the victim.
Investigators arrested the pair on theft charges late Jan. 21.
The iPad, other electronics and thousands of dollars were
stolen from the victim’s truck Jan. 8. He later noticed his
iCloud account had images of the men holding $100 bills.
Some stolen items were dumped behind a Starbucks. The
victim believes his iPad connected to the Starbucks Wi-Fi and
the images synced to his iCloud account.
He shared the images with the media. The photos ended
up online, helping authorities identify the suspects as Dorian
Walker-Gaines, left in photo, and Dillan Thompson.

A Pine Bluff, Arkansas, man became angry when a new
friend asked him for sexual favors while they were hanging
out on January 9.
So angry, in fact, that he stabbed the man on his upper
lip, left forearm, left leg, abdomen and sternum.
According to the police report, Miami police were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Third Avenue
Northeast shortly after midnight due to a stabbing that had
just occurred. When an officer arrived, he met with James
Dewayne Blile, 41.
Blile told the officer he met a man a couple weeks ago
while he was walking down the street in Miami. He said he
asked the man if he wanted to come to his apartment and
hang out.
The man said yes and brought two half-pints of vodka to
Blile’s apartment; the party was on.
After they had been hanging out for awhile, the man
asked Blile if he would go get cigs and beer. After grabbing the beer, Blile returned to his
apartment and gave his new friend a drink.
They drank four beers out of the 12 pack, then the new friend had something to tell Blile.
He said he was sorry, because he had tried to have sex with Blile’s girlfriend while he was
gone.
Blile said he wasn’t upset at first, but then his new friend started asking him for sexual
favors.
At first he said he thought the man was joking, but he wouldn’t stop asking. Blile told the
man to stop disrespecting him and his girlfriend. He said the man then removed a large knife
from his pocket.
Blile said he told the man to leave. The man started walked toward the door, but he then
turned around with the knife in his hand. That’s when Blile went to the kitchen and grabbed
a knife. He said he then pushed the man down on the couch and stabbed him to the point
where the kitchen knife broke.
Blile then went to the neighbors’ house and told them to call the police because he had just
stabbed a man.
Blile is being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is being held
in lieu of a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2015.
With friends like that…
