DUI DOMESTIC A&b POSS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE DUI OBSTRUCTING OFFICER DOMESTIC A&b BURGLARY- 2ND DEGREE
An “out-of-control” drunken Ponca City man was arrested Jan.
11, after he barged inside his mother’s house, yelling and screaming.
According to the affidavit, Ponca City police were dispatched
to the residence concerning an intoxicated man that was beating
on the door of the home, trying to get in.
When an officer arrived, he saw the suspect’s mother standing
at the open door to her home. When she saw him, she yelled,
“Hurry up!” and pointed inside the house.
The woman told the officer that her son, Timothy Michael
Morris, 39, was running toward the garage.
Apparently, Morris had gone to the house and started banging on the door. His mother and step-father opened the door, letting him in, because they said they were afraid
that he was going to break down the door.
As the officer walked toward the garage, he heard two men arguing. He saw Morris
arguing with his stepfather in the garage.
Morris was trying to open a door to exit the garage and when he saw the officer, he
squared up, as though he was going to fight the officer.
The officer thought Morris appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The amped-up man would not listen to verbal commands from his mother or stepfather.
The officer told Morris twice to get on his knees; he gave Morris one more chance and
told him that if he didn’t go to his knees, he was going to tase him.
Morris obviously didn’t care about volts of electricity going through his body. He
moved toward the officer and allegedly said, “I’m gonna f--- you up.”
The officer retrieved his Taser and fired it at Morris. It took five cycles from the Taser
to control Morris, but the officer was eventually able to take him into custody.
Morris is being charged with assault and battery upon a police officer, resisting an
officer and public intoxication. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to
appear in court on Jan. 29, 2014.

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma Department of Human Services to impact the huge
social problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they
have a chance at a productive life. Children have the right to get
support from both parents and do not lose this right when a
parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children,
taxpayers often pay the cost of raising children. When children
receive public assistance and their parents pay no child support,
all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

A Bartlesville mother is in jail after an informant told police
that she was involved in trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the affidavit, Bartlesville police were contacted
by an informant who told them Katherine Elizabeth Davidson,
26, was involved in trafficking meth. The informant added that
he or she could set up a meeting for police to purchase meth
from her.
Police advised the informant to set up the deal for Jan. 15.
On Jan. 15, an officer met with Davidson inside her vehicle
in a gas station parking lot. She told the officer that she was in
a hurry to get back to Tulsa to pick her child up from school.
The officer gave Davidson the money, and she directed him
to a white plastic sack of what appeared to be meth in a cup holder in the backseat.
The officer asked Davidson if he could weigh the meth; she told him that she was in
a hurry, but to go ahead. He exited her vehicle and entered his, where he retrieved a
digital sale.
As he was weighing the meth, he saw Davidson pull out of the parking lot. He advised
police via radio that Davidson was leaving. Police turned on their emergency lights in an
attempt to pull Davidson over, but she failed to pull over. They were eventually able to
stop Davidson, and she was arrested and taken to jail.
Police retrieved a baggie of what they believed to be meth that Davidson had thrown
out of the window during the chase.
At the Washington County sheriff’s office, the officer cut a tear in the bag Davidson
had thrown from the window that appeared to contain meth. The substance turned out
not to be meth, but rather was, what the officer believed, either salt or sugar due to its
appearance.
An officer performed a field test on both the substance the officer had purchased from
Davidson and the baggie she had thrown out of the window.
The purchased ounce tested positive for meth, but the other substance did not.
Davidson is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of imitation controlled substance, failure to yield for emergency vehicle and
reckless driving. She is being held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in
court on Feb. 7, 2014.

A hungry Ramona man’s QT hotdog
run was interrupted when police arrested
him for public intoxication on Jan. 11.
According to the affidavit, Bartlesville
police were dispatched to the convenience store regarding a call about an intoxicated man.
When they arrived, they approached a
man that matched the description given
by dispatch. Police tried verbally to get
the subject’s attention, but they were unsuccessful.
They then approached him on both sides and touched his arm,
but they were still unsuccessful in getting his attention.
Finally, one of the men pulled the man’s sweatshirt hood off of
his head. They asked the man his name, and he identified himself
as Matthew Alexander Javillo.
The 26-year-old man was in the middle of trying to put ketchup on his hotdogs before he was interrupted by police. He still
continued trying, however, despite police commands to stop and
despite the fact that the lid was still on the ketchup.
An officer could smell the odor of marijuana and alcohol coming from Javillo. The hungry man appeared to be confused and
lethargic and would not answer the officers’ questions.
An officer placed Javillo under arrest for public intox. During
a pat-down search of Javillo, an officer found a self-rolled cigar
that contained a green, leafy substance in his sweatshirt pocket.
The substance field-tested positive for marijuana.
Javillo is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and public intoxication. He was released on a
$5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7, 2014.

Reports of crime in the neighborhood
can make one feel uneasy. The affected
community may work to rebuild
its sense of security by hiring more
police, improving street lighting, and
imposing strict curfews. In addition
to this, community efforts to reduce
poverty and provide better educational
opportunities for all community
members can help eliminate crimes of
desperation and strengthen the fiber of
the community.
To eliminate crime entirely, wouldn’t
we also need to address other issues
that cause criminal behavior? Wouldn’t
we need to address things such as
dishonesty, disrespect, greed, and hatred that seem to come from
within individuals? As Jesus pointed out, “Evil thoughts come out
of the heart” (Matthew 15:19 New International Reader’s Version).
To end criminal behavior, we need to reach the heart of people with
the healing touch of divine Love.
Jesus’ life, recorded in the Bible, shows us how to love as God
loves. This spiritual love changes people’s hearts. Knowing that
God is only good and is the true Father and Mother, the governing
Principle, of all humanity, Jesus looked beyond the erring human
personality to discern the pure and perfect spiritual identity of an
individual. Jesus loved – deeply appreciated and acknowledged –
this true identity. When he met Zacchaeus, a corrupt tax collector,
Jesus loved him as God had created him, looking beyond his corrupt
behavior to perceive reality – Zacchaeus’ honesty and uprightness
(see Luke 19:2-8). This perfect love reached the heart of Zacchaeus
and changed his behavior. He pledged to return the money he had
taken unlawfully, recompense for the wrong he had done, and
reestablish his life on an honest foundation.
Bible Says:
REACHING THE HEART OF PEOPLE

Oklahoma Highway Patrol
Well, winter is here! With this
most recent ice and snow storm
that gripped Oklahoma, there obviously were some significant
obstacles to safe driving. One that I have noticed, that doesn’t
really get a lot of attention, is the visibility that is obstructed by
iced over windshields and windows on vehicles. I’m going to touch
on some of that, to try to raise some awareness about it, and give
some tips to help us stay safe.
We’ve all seen it...a vehicle coming down the road with just a
small hole scraped in the windshield so the driver could see the
road. Every time I see it, I cringe! The law that governs this is
Oklahoma State Statute 47:12-404.C, which states: “No person
shall drive any motor vehicle with any sign, poster, other nontransparent material, or debris, including but not limited to snow,
ice, or frost upon the front windshield or the side wings, or side
or rear windows......which obstructs, obscures, or impairs the
driver’s clear view of the highway ahead or to either side or of any
intersecting highway.” What this means to the everyday driver is
that the little hole you scraped to drive by, just won’t cut it! While
compliance is the goal, the reason is safety! Obviously the chances
of an accident drastically increase as visibility decreases...so why
limit our vision to just a small hole out the front windshield?
There are several ways to clear those windshields, both
mechanically and chemically. A simple ice scraper has been the
preferred method for as long as most people can remember. They
are inexpensive, and easy to find. Another method is simply to go
out 10 minutes before you leave and simply start your car up, and
get the defroster going! When the windows are clear, you are good
to go! Still another way is to obtain any number of chemical deicing sprays that are available at most stores. Don’t pour hot water
on your windows, as the change in temperatures can cause your
window to crack or break!
While we are talking about it, lets not forget about those side and
rear widows. A significant percentage of accidents happen while
backing, so it stands to reason that we need to be able to see out
our back glass as well as the front. Side windows are no different,
no one wants to be struck by a vehicle they couldn’t see when they
pull into an intersection. After you finish with those side windows,
go ahead and hit those side mirrors as well!
All of these suggestions simply take a little extra time, and
sometimes money, but the time and money pale in comparison to
the impact on time and money that an accident will have on you, or
others. As a safe, courteous driver, you owe it to yourself and your
fellow drivers! Thanks for reading, buckle up and be safe!

A former Rogers County Commissioner who spent time in prison is in
trouble with the law again.
Deputies arrested Randy Baldridge
on Jan. 7.
Tulsa police say a witness has accused Baldridge of picking up runaway
boys and giving them drugs, sometimes
in exchange for sexual favors.
Someone else told police that Baldridge had given him methamphetamine and he later woke up naked in a
field.
TPD turned over the investigation
to Rogers County since the allegations
were centered there.
The Rogers County THUG task force
took him into custody. They say he had
a 16-year-old runaway from Tulsa with
him at the time.
The two were at a Rogers County
home where deputies say they found syringes in the boy’s backpack that tested
positive for containing methamphetamine.
Deputies say they got permission to
search Baldridge’s vehicle and found a
glass smoking device, several syringes
and a silver spoon, all with a white,
powdery substance on them that also
tested positive for meth.
They say all this was found less than
200 feet from the Tiawah Elementary
School.
An affidavit says
Baldridge admitted
supplying teenage
boys with meth, but
he first claimed he
bought it as a way to
keep the boys from
going into those
kinds of places.
It says he originally denied using
meth himself, but later admitted, with
tears in his eyes, that he did use it.
This appears to be a long downward
spiral from where Baldridge was when
voters elected him to be a Rogers County commissioner.
However, in 2007, a federal jury
found him guilty of money laundering,
mail fraud, obtaining money by fraud
and other counts and a judge sentenced
Baldridge to 37 months in federal prison.
The sheriff says when Baldridge was
released from prison, he came back to
Rogers County, got a job and things
were quiet until his office received these
recent complaints.
The affidavit says a second teenage
runaway boy has been at Baldridge’s
home many times, for long periods of
time, but he was dropped off at a Tulsa
house and deputies are still searching
for him.
Baldridge

A 24-year-old Sperry man was arrested on his birthday after he
perhaps partied a little too hard and gave alcohol to an underage
male.
According to the affidavit, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper
was on patrol Jan. 5, when he was dispatched to the scene of a onevehicle collision on Lenapah Street.
When the trooper arrived, he saw a truck in the ditch. Apparently,
the truck had been traveling too fast on the icy road; it slid into the
ditch, striking a mailbox.
The trooper made contact with a male who was seated in the vehicle. He told the trooper that he had been the driver. The trooper immediately smelled alcohol and noticed that
the male had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech.
The trooper asked the man if he was the only one in the vehicle. He replied he had some
friends with him. The man denied drinking alcohol, but admitted to smoking marijuana
and taking “some of Zach’s pills.”
He was transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The trooper made contact with another man on scene and asked him if he had been a
passenger in the truck. The man replied, “I don’t know how I got here.” He added that he
had been walking down the road at the time of the accident.
The man identified himself as Zachary James Starks, 24. The trooper noticed he had
red bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet.
The trooper detained him for further investigation before conducting an inventory of
the vehicle. He found an open bottle of tequila on the passenger’s side.
The trooper arrested Starks for public intox and two prescription bottles of pills prescribed to Starks in the intoxicated man’s pockets.
The trooper transported Starks to jail before going to the hospital to speak to the underage driver. The male told him that he and Starks had consumed alcohol in a parking lot.
The trooper asked him why he was in possession of the tequila since he was a minor. He
told the trooper that Starks had given it to him.
Starks is being charged with furnishing an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21,
public intoxication and failure to wear a seatbelt. He is being held on a $3,000 bond and
is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7, 2014.
Unhappy birthday to you

patterns that lead to sexual offenses.
To create the motivation to change,
some offenders need a variety of
treatment and corrective interventions,
and for others learning how to make
the change in their own behavioral
cycle of abuse is more effective.
The sex offenders
page is not a
complete listing
of all offenders in
these counties; we
will be publishing
more in each
month’s issue.

A whiskey chuggin’ 20-year-old Terlton girl
was given the chance to stay out from behind
bars, but she threw away her get-out-of-jail
free card when she took a big ol’ swig of liquor
right in front of an officer.
Stupidity or immaturity?
On Jan. 3, a Pawnee deputy was dispatched
to a Terlton residence in reference to an under age female drinking and disrespecting her
mother, according to the affidavit.
When he arrived, he spoke to the girl’s mother, who told him that
her daughter was extremely intoxicated and had been causing problems. She said she wanted her daughter to leave the home.
The deputy made contact with the girl, Stacia Nicole Walker.
Walker had red bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled very
strongly of alcohol.
She admitted to consuming several shots of whiskey that day and
disrespecting her mother.
The deputy told her that her mother did not want her in the home;
he gave her the option of leaving or going to jail.
She chose to go to a friend’s house.
While getting her things together, Walker grabbed a bottle of
whiskey, took a big drink from the bottle right in front of the deputy
and laughed about it.
The deputy placed Walker in handcuffs, but she apparently failed
to realize that she was in trouble.
She continued laughing and kept begging the deputy for another
drink of whiskey. She added that she was an alcoholic and loved to
drink.
Walker is being charged with possession of alcohol by a person
under 21. She pled no contest to the charges and is scheduled to appear in court on April 8, 2014.
Perhaps this is why 21
is the drinking age…
