ROGUE IN A ROGUE
A 20-year-old Stillwater man was arrested after
he led a trooper on a high-speed chase on January 30.
According to reports, a state trooper was at
Highway 33 and Sangre Road conducting a follow up on a fatality accident when he was advised by Oklahoma City police that a black Nissan Rogue with a Texas tag had been involved in
an ATM robbery.
At approximately 4:07 p.m., a broadcast went out that the vehicle was seen
on I-35 northbound at the 157 mile marker. The vehicle was traveling approximately 120 miles per hour. Dispatch sent the trooper a picture of the vehicle.
The trooper then headed north to Highway 51, and then saw the suspect
vehicle west of Coyle Road heading east toward Stillwater. The vehicle was
traveling in a reckless manner, going 100 mph in a 65 mph zone.
The trooper followed the vehicle and noticed that the driver, later identified as
Michael Subira Moriasi, sped up. Moriasi drove recklessly in an attempt to get
away from the trooper, passing vehicles in an unsafe manner. He didn’t signal
lane changes and he continued to drive about 120 mph, but eventually came to
a stop at Highway 51 and Redlands Road.
A K9 with the Stillwater Police Department conducted a free air sniff of the
vehicle. The K9 alerted to the presence of drugs.
Officers found a white powder with a crystal-like substance in the vehicle. The
substance tested positive for fentanyl and meth.
Moriasi is being charged with attempting to elude and possession of a controlled dangerous sub substance (meth and fentanyl). His bond was set at
$10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on March 4, 2025.

THAT'S METHED UP!
Barking up the wrong tree?
A Florida man is accused of possessing methamphetamine after he was allegedly observed
“barking like a dog” in a Georgia auto parts store
for more than a hour, authorities said.
According to Monroe County online booking records, Jonathan Patrick Navas,
29, of Palm Coast, was arrested on Jan. 23. He was charged with possession of
methamphetamine and battery, records show.
In an incident report, the Forsyth Police Department said that the owner of an
Advance Auto Parts store called to complain that Navas had been in the store
and had been “barking like a dog.”
Navas allegedly told an officer that he had no idea his barking “was causing
any issues,” according to the Monroe County/Macon Reporter.
When police asked Navas for his identification, he told
officers it was in his vehicle. When officers approached
the vehicle, they allegedly found “a clear baggie containing syringes” in the passenger seat. A search revealed
a bag full “of a clear crystal substance” that was later
confirmed to be methamphetamine.
According to the incident report, Navas allegedly told
officers that the syringes contained blood.
Navas was arrested and taken to the Monroe County
Detention Center, online records show. Bond was set at
$5,000. KODY

WHEN THEY'RE GONE
A Sapulpa couple has been sentenced for their
role in abusing a three-week-old baby back in
2022.
On January 27, 2025, a federal judge sentenced
Jeannie Rene Romero, a 25-year-old citizen of the
Muscogee (Creek) Nation, to 60 months in prison
followed by five years of supervised release for
Child Abuse and Child Neglect in Indian Country.
In October 2022, while Jeannie was caring for
her three-week-old baby, she admittedly used
excessive force during a diaper change, causing
the baby’s femur to break in half. Tragically, she
neglected to seek medical attention for over 48
hours, and doctors later discovered additional injuries consistent with abuse.
In June, Jeannie’s husband, Jacob Alejandro
Romero, 24, was sentenced to 24 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release
for Child Neglect in Indian County. Jacob was at
work during the abuse incident, but he failed to
notice the infant’s obvious injury and seek help.
As a result of the abuse, the baby and its sibling were removed from the home
and placed in the care of their family members.
Jeannie is currently in custody, awaiting transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
Jacob was previously released on bond and subsequently taken into custody
after his sentencing in June.

A couple from Nebraska was stopped in Lincoln
County after a deputy found drugs and paraphernalia in
the stolen van they were driving on February 7.
According to the affidavit, the deputy stopped the
couple’s van at approximately 8:11 p.m. in the area of
Highway 66 and Highway 177 when he saw that dirt
was obstructing the license plate. The deputy ran the license plate through dispatch and was advised that the
registration on the vehicle expired in November 2023.
The deputy then spoke to the driver, 32-year-old Tasha Lynn Wymore. He noticed the odor of marijuana
inside the vehicle. When he asked Tasha if there was
any marijuana in the van, she said no.
The passenger was identified as 29-year-old Matthew Jared Wymore.
The deputy again asked about marijuana in the van,
and Tasha said there was a container for it, but that
was it.
Tasha stepped out of the van to speak to the deputy. She said they had the van for a couple of months
and they had gotten it from Matthew’s friend, but she
didn’t know the last name. She said the couple moved
to Oklahoma from Nebraska to start a new life.
A K9 arrived on scene, and the dog alerted to the
presence of narcotics. Tasha handed the deputy a container and a rubber smoking device and said that’s all they had.
Matthew told the deputy they had the van for about 6 months, and that a friend from
prison had just given it to him. He also said he didn’t have the friend’s phone number.
The deputy spoke to the owner of the van, who said the couple had permission to take
the van for a couple of days, but they disappeared with it about five months ago. She was
in the process of reporting it as stolen.
The deputy searched the vehicle and found 48 used and new hypodermic needles,
three marijuana smoking devices, and two glass smoking devices used to smoke meth.
He also found three baggies containing a white substance, an aluminum grinder containing marijuana, and seven blue pills identified as Eszopiclone, a sedative and hypnotic.
Tasha Wymore is being charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession
of a controlled dangerous substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Her
bond was set at $5,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on March 12, 2025.

Veterans,
when you’re struggling,
soon becomes
later becomes
someday becomes
...when?
Whatever you’re going through,
you don’t have to do it alone.
Find resources at VA.GOV/REACH
Don’t wait. Reach out.
These two give a whole new meaning to keeping up
with the Jones’, as this brother and sister duo joined
forces like Bonnie and Clyde and tried to rob Moncrief
Bail Bonds in Florida, along with a juvenile!!
That’s right, Rasheem Jones and Takirria Jones,
along with a juvenile, Matthew Jackson, decided they
would rob Moncrief Bail Bonds at gunpoint, with Takirria
being the getaway driver and the other two going inside
to get the goods.
It all started on January 6th, when the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office (Florida) received
a call from employees stating that two individuals came into the business wearing masks,
demanding money from them and one of the subjects pointed a firearm at them. Well,
plot twist, there was no cash at the business so the subjects fled and took off in the
getaway vehicle.
During the investigation, it was learned that similar subjects had committed an armed
robbery the night before in the city of Cocoa Beach.
Through investigative work and by working with Cocoa Beach Police, agents were
able to identify all of the subjects involved in this “well-planned” robbery!! Ultimately, Rasheem Jones was charged with attempted robbery with a firearm with a mask, aggravated assault with a firearm with a mask, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon,
Matthew Jackson was charged with attempted robbery with a firearm with a mask and
aggravated assault with a firearm with a mask, and last but not least, Takirria Jones was
charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a
deadly weapon. All subjects were transported to the Brevard County jail on a No Bond
status, and of course Jackson was processed through the Juvenile Detention Center.
This is definitely a type of family bonding you don’t see every day, but folks I don’t
recommend it!! Oh and one more thing…good luck getting a bondsman to come bond
you out!!

The pursuit began when Guthrie officers attempted to apprehend a white Dodge Ram near 14th and College Avenue
around 3 a.m., according to reports. However, Pharr resisted
arrest and led the officers on a dangerous chase through city
streets before eventually leaving city limits.
During the pursuit, a male passenger was observed exiting the moving vehicle near 21st and
College Avenue and continuing southbound on Academy Road. Later, a female passenger was
compelled to jump from the speeding vehicle, sustaining injuries to her hands and knees. A deputy
promptly attended to her and later reported that Pharr had disregarded her repeated pleas to stop
the vehicle.
A second deputy managed to locate the Dodge Ram in the vicinity of Camp and Broadway and
initiated a pursuit of the truck.
The pursuit took place on roads covered in ice and sleet, posing significant challenges to safe
driving. Despite the hazardous conditions, the officers maintained a vigilant stance as the chase
progressed at speeds exceeding 60 mph.
The vehicle was eventually spotted near Industrial Road, where a deputy successfully apprehended it approximately half a mile west of Broadway and Industrial.
Upon exiting the vehicle, Pharr was apprehended without incident.
During the vehicle search, authorities discovered drug paraphernalia, including a used needle, a
burnt marijuana pipe, and rolling papers. A subsequent search at the Logan County Jail revealed a
clear bag containing a white crystalline substance in Pharr’s jacket pocket, which later tested positive
for methamphetamine, along with six marijuana pre-rolls.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation is still ongoing. Bond was set at
$10,000 and he is scheduled to next appear in court on April 10.

A Temple University student has been arrested and
charged with impersonating an ICE officer after showing up at a residence hall and attempting to enter.
Two “suspicious” males identified themselves as police and ICE agents to dorm security on February 1, according to Philadelphia police. The individuals were denied access to the residence hall, according to Temple.
A third suspect -- identified by police as 22-year-old
Aidan Steigelmann, arrived at the building and spoke with the two suspects, before the
three of them left together in a Jaguar SUV.
Two of the three were impersonating ICE officers while the third was recording the
interactions, according to Temple University.
Minutes later, university police responded to a report of three suspicious males identifying themselves as police officers and ICE at an Insomnia Cookies store, according to
police.
While two of the suspects left the area in a light-colored SUV, Steigelmann was identified, arrested and his vehicle was towed, police said.
“The involved student is on interim suspension. Any student found responsible for this conduct will be subject to
disciplinary action under the Student Conduct Code, up to
and including expulsion,” Temple University said in a statement.
The investigation is is still active and ongoing, and the
two other suspects remain at large. The suspects were
wearing shirts with “Police” on the front and “ICE” on the
back, police said.
