The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation
(OSBI) arrested a 22-year-old Cushing man after
he injured his two-month-old son.
Cody Dean Floyd was charged October 3 with
felony child abuse in Payne County District Court.
According to OSBI, the baby’s mom took the
baby to the Cushing Hospital because he was inconsolable. Upon examination, medical staff diagnosed internal injuries and the baby was transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City
for further treatment. The Payne County District
Attorney’s Office requested that the OSBI investigate.
Floyd was arrested in Cushing without incident
and transported to the Payne County jail. His bond was set at $50,000.

hot for teacher
A multi-agency investigation into an Oklahoma prostitution ring exposed a faculty member at Ripley Middle
School as a major player in a criminal organization that
operates front businesses for Oklahoma’s illicit sex industry.
Also identified in the investigation was the school district’s superintendent, who was named as an individual
known to solicit prostitution.
Kacey Williamson, a support teacher with Ripley
Public Schools, was arrested October 11 and charged
with racketeering, procuring for prostitution, accessing
a computer or network with unlawful intent, proceeds
derived from violation of state statute and conspiracy to
commit a felony, in Tulsa County District Court.
Ripley Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kenneth
“Kenny” Beams, who was not listed as a defendant in
the indictment, was however noted as a known solicitor in the affidavit. He was also arrested October 11
and faces one count of solicitation of prostitution. He
bonded out just after 3 a.m., October 12, after posting a
$100 cash surety bond.
According to the affidavit, an online digital distribution platform, known as Discord, is utilized to promote
and facilitate prostitution. Williamson was identified as a
key administrator, or moderator, on private communities
within the Reddit and Discord applications, after law enforcement agencies in the
Tulsa area were made aware that these applications were being used as social
platforms to advertise, promote and schedule appointments for prostitution.
The affidavit says that WiIliamson, known on both Reddit and Discord as “Heavenly Hannah,” has a more significant role in the criminal organization.
As investigators pieced together evidence tying Williamson to the screen name
Heavenly Hannah, they uncovered messages within the Discord app written by
Williamson that stated when she obtained employment as a teacher at Ripley
Schools, she was starting a new life, but planned on keeping select clients for
prostitution.
According to the affidavit, Williamson lives on the 900 block of Lewis, in Perkins.
In the listing of evidence compiled against Williamson in the affidavit, investigators noted that Ripley Superintendent Dr. Kenny Beams was identified as Reddit
user “OKC Ken” and Discord user “Rocky_34”.
The affidavit states, “Beams is known to solicit acts of prostitution in the Tulsa
metro area.”
Beams has been superintendent at the district since July of 2000, according to
a resume posted on the social networking website, Linkedin.
According to Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter, the ongoing investigation has spanned more than a year and a half and combined the resources of the
attorney general’s office, Tulsa Police Department, Broken Arrow Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and the Tulsa
County District Attorney’s Office.

A Florida couple arrested for DUI reportedly attempted to have sexual intercourse in the back of the patrol vehicle about to transport them to jail.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, officials said the couple—identified as
35-year-old Megan Lynn Mondanaro and 31-year-old Seth Aaron Thomas—
were seen attempting to disrobe in the back of the Nassau County Sheriff’s
Office squad car. They had been riding bicycles at night without running lights
and reportedly came in close contact with a motorist when a deputy spotted
and stopped them.
Mondanaro was charged with DUI, exposing sex organs, unnatural and lascivious act and resisting without violence.
Thomas was charged with threat against a public official, unnatural and lascivious act, exposing sex organs and DUI.
Both Thomas and Mondanaro reportedly have lengthy criminal records.
A man who reportedly claimed to be a police officer during an argument with
an employee of a strip club in Waverly, NE—a suburb of Lincoln— now faces
criminal charges of making terroristic threats and impersonating a police officer.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Capt. John Vik of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the man—identified as 26-year-old Keith Charles Urban—had been causing a disturbance at the Shakers Gentleman’s Club and
was being escorted from the building when Urban claimed to be a police officer
armed with a handgun.
An employee told deputies that during the confrontation, Urban drew what
appeared to be a Glock from his waistband and pressed it against the employee’s midsection.
Vik said the man then fled in a vehicle but was apprehended at a vehicle stop
shortly thereafter. Inside the vehicle, deputies reportedly found a CO2 BB gun
that looked like a handgun.
A New York man was arrested after he allegedly tried to pull over a van full of
police detectives.
According to Fox News, the man—identified as 25-year-old Valiery Portlock—reportedly activated emergency lights and sounded an air horn as he
attempted to pull the van over in the Long Island town of Hicksville.
When the occupants of the van—members of the Nassau County Police Department’s electronics squad—identified themselves, Portlock reportedly fled
the scene. He was later arrested by highway patrol and charged with criminal
impersonation, reckless endangerment, and fleeing the police.
A knucklehead Ohio bank robber slipped a teller a hold-up note — with his
name and address scrawled on it, officials said.
Michael Harrell, 54, entered a US Bank branch in Cleveland and passed the
not-so-discreet note, the FBI said.
“When the teller took the note, and looked at it and looked at the other side,
she saw his name, he had used a note that he had used earlier at the [Ohio
Bureau of Motor Vehicles] and it had his name on it,” FBI Special Agent Vicki
Anderson told news station WIVB.
The teller reportedly complied with his demand and handed Harrell $206
before calling the authorities.
“She actually even referred to him as Michael. Gave him the money and called
him Michael and then notified law enforcement,” Anderson said.
Harrell, who was a frequent customer, has been arrested in the robbery, CNN
reported. It’s unclear if charges have been filed against him.

of course, one man’s trash
is another man’s treasure.
A Goodwill in Monroe,
Washington State, received a not-so-ordinary
donation. While sorting
through donations, employees scored a cooler full of weed. Not just a couple
grams, but five whole bags full. Talk about a surprise.
Employees discovered the weed while sorting through donations that day.
So, they decided to call the cops.
Police attempted to track down the cooler’s owner, but the mission was
unsuccessful since they didn’t know if it was donated at this location or at a
Goodwill trailer that sits in another town.
Meanwhile, a lot of people on social media are claiming the cooler is theirs.
According to Debbie Willis of the Monroe Police Department, no one has yet
to fetch it, though.
Believe it or not, pot isn’t the strangest contribution to come through Goodwill’s doors. In fact, people commonly leave the most random of things behind
with their donated goods.
According to Katherine Boury, a spokesperson for Goodwill, employees
once came across three human skulls.
“In 2014, three human skulls were found. We worked with authorities to
track down the origin of the Native American skull for proper burial.”
Two of the skulls had been used for medical research, while the other one
was a Native American skull that was more than 100 years old.
So, what’s the pending date of the donated cannabis? According to Willis,
it’s only a moment of time before it goes to waste.
“It’s sitting in our evidence, waiting yearly burn of that type of evidence.”
At the present time, it’s legal in Washington to possess once ounce of cannabis if you’re 21 and over. The donated stash was 60 times over that limit.

Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty 11 | NOVEMBER 2019 CREEK COUNTY
A Sapulpa man found himself behind bars after he tried
unsuccessfully to take the law into his own hands.
Cody Brewer, 32, was charged October 16 with felony
assault with a dangerous weapon, in Creek County District
Court.
According to the Creek County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, October 7, deputies responded to an assault call near
Hwy 33 and S 252nd W Ave. The victims were north bound
on S 252nd W Ave. on their way to purchase a dog when
a woman came out in the middle of the road. She was yelling at the driver as he drove by, telling him to slow down or
she’d get her 12 gauge.
On victims’ way back south, the woman got in front of
the vehicle and two men were standing in the ditch on both sides of the road. The
driver told the woman to move out of the road and she yelled “I told you to slow
down, the speed limit is 5 mph!”
When driving away, the driver and passengers heard multiple gunshots.
The victims drove to the highway and met with deputies. After deputies located
the suspects, they initially denied any knowledge of a gun being fired. A spent
shotgun shell was found and the suspects eventually admitted that the gun had
been fired.
The two other people involved in the incident, Leslie Boyce, 25, and Brittany
Boyce, 29, were also arrested, but as of press time, no charges have been filed
against them.

jURY CONVICTS THIRD SUSPECT IN 2018
LINCOLN COUNTY MURDER
The third suspect in the 2018 murder of
65-year-old Donald Coleman has been convicted of Murder in the Second Degree.
On September 1, 2018, the body of Donald
Coleman was found on the front porch of his
home in the 790000 block of S. 3540 north of
Stroud. Coleman had been beaten and shot.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office requested
the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation
(OSBI) investigate Coleman’s death.
During the course of the investigation,
agents discovered that Jerry Richards, 34,
Deirdre Allen, 31, and Waylon Whitlow, 44,
went to Coleman’s house the evening of August 31, 2018. A violent altercation began
when the three entered Coleman’s house and the victim was beaten with a
hammer and an ax. A rifle was taken from Coleman during the altercation.
Coleman walked outside onto his porch. At that point, Richards shot him with
the rifle they had taken from him.
Richards, Allen and Whitlow were each originally charged with one count of
Murder in the First Degree.
On June 4, 2019, Allen and Whitlow both plead guilty to manslaughter and
received sentences of 15 years each.
On October 24, a Lincoln County jury convicted Richards of Murder in the
Second Degree and recommended a sentence of 37 years.
Richards will be formally sentenced on November 20, 2019. The Lincoln
County Sheriff’s Office, Stroud Police Department, Sac & Fox Police Department and Henryetta Police Department assisted with this investigation.

More than 100,000 children and
youth in the U.S. foster care system are awaiting permanent families. National Adoption Month is a
time to raise awareness about the
adoption of children and youth
from foster care.
The Children’s Bureau in partnership with AdoptUSKids and
Child Welfare Information Gateway sponsors the initiative each November as a way to focus public attention on the urgent need for adoptive families for children and youth waiting
in foster care for a permanent family. This year’s focus, “Partnering for
Permanency,” builds on the social media theme from last year. A special
web page on Information Gateway’s website helps child welfare professionals, prospective adoptive parents, and youth partner for permanency.
The website contains resources, stories, and videos on topics such as getting started with social media, how to build a recruitment campaign, and
how social media impacts child welfare and adoption. The website can be

The mother of 19-year-old Brandon Dupree was
in Langston on Monday, October 21, 2019, to
mark the year anniversary of his murder.
Bonita Martin traveled to Langston in an effort
to generate leads in her son’s case.
Dupree had just moved to Tulsa to attend welding school. He traveled to Langston with friends
when they heard about a party occurring in conjunction with Homecoming at Langston University. The party took place at The Langston Center,
no affiliation with the University, on October 20,
2018. During the party, a fight broke out. Dupree
was shot one time and died at the hospital.
The OSBI is currently offering a $10,000 reward
in this case.
Anyone with information should contact the OSBI at (800) 522-8017 or
[email protected].
