STILLWATER TEEN JAILED FOR ARMED ROBBERY
A 19-year-old Stillwater man is in trouble after
he allegedly committed armed robbery on September 27.
According to reports, Stillwater police were
dispatched to the 200 block of North Perkins
at 8:16 p.m. to investigate a robbery. A man
wearing a “camouflage winter mask” allegedly
entered the store and stood at the front counter.
An employee told the man she would be right
with him. When she went to approach him, she
saw him pull a gun out of his pocket. She and
the other employees went to the back of the
store.
The suspect, later identified as Evan Patrick
Bayouth, left the building.
A mere 10 minutes later, police officers were sent to a convenience store in
the 1800 block of North Perkins to investigate a panic alarm. Another armed
robbery had taken place, and the description of the suspect was the same as
the suspect who had tried to commit the first robbery.
Reports state that the suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk,
and demanded money and JUULs. The clerk handed over the items in a white
bag. He told his coworker that he didn’t know if the gun was real, but he
didn’t want to get shot, so he gave the suspect what he asked for.
An officer in the area spotted a driver who matched the suspect’s description. He stopped the man. On the front side passenger floorboard, the officer
saw a camouflage ski mask and a white bag.
The man was identified as Bayouth. Witnesses from both robbery locations
positively identified him as the suspect.
Bayouth allegedly asked officers, “Do you think the charges from (the first
location) will be dropped since nothing was taken?”
Bayouth is being charged with robbery with a firearm and attempted robbery with a firearm. His bond was set at $30,000, and he is scheduled to
appear in court on December 6, 2021.

AROUND THE STATE
SHOOTING ARREST -- Man arrested after
shooting his neighbor.
Around 3:15 p.m. on October 12, officers
got called out to a shooting near 4300 N. Iroquois Ave. A woman called police saying her
neighbor shot her 23-year-old grandson.
The victim told officers he went to the
neighbor’s house to talk to him about WIFI.
After knocking on the door twice, the victim
says Edward Deonta White fired several gunshots through the window, hitting the victim
once in the shoulder.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is
expected to be okay.
Officers setup a perimeter around the
house. After 30 minutes of announcements without a response, the Special
Operations Team was activated. Officers also talked with a family relative who
identified White and provided additional information.
After several hours of making announcements, the SOT team made entry in
the house and found White had escaped.
Officers then received information that Edward White was spotted at several
area convenience stores. Eventually, Edward White was caught at a Walmart
fighting with deputies.
Edward White was arrested for:
Shooting with Intent to Kill AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony)
Possession of a Firearm AFCF
Drug Possession AFCF
*This is a previous mugshot of White. He was being combative and uncooperative at the jail.

SAPULPA MAN CONVICTED OF
SEXUALLY ABUSING TWO CHILDREN
A federal jury convicted a Sapulpa man on October 28 of sexually abusing two victims who were
under the age of 12.
The jury found Andrew Lee Gibbs, 64, guilty of
abusive sexual contact of a minor in Indian Country and aggravated sexual abuse of a minor in Indian Country.
The jury found that on March 7, 2021, Gibbs
knowingly touched the first victim in a sexual manner. They further found that on the same day, the
defendant sexually abused a second child, who
was also under the age of 12. After the sexual assaults, one of the children broke away from Gibbs,
and eventually ran up to a man in a restaurant parking lot, told him that the
defendant did an “unsafe touch,” and begged the man for help. The man,
who happened to be a Homeland Security Investigations special agent with
10 years of experience working crimes against children, then called 911.
Gibbs soon arrived, but the child accused him of abuse. He left then returned
a few minutes later with the child’s mother. When she heard of the abuse, she
removed her remaining children from his vehicle.
A Child Abuse Forensic Interviewer later spoke with both victims who stated
that Gibbs, an adult they had trusted, sexually abused them in his vehicle during an outing to a park. Following the visit to the park, Gibbs took the children
to a nearby store where one ran away and sought help.
“A victim of Andrew Gibbs bravely reported his predatory acts and, along
with her sister, testified against him in federal court,” said Acting U.S. Attorney
Clint Johnson. “It is extremely difficult for children to reveal the details of their
sexual abuse to anyone, let alone a courtroom of strangers. I commend both
the victims for their courage. When children report abuse, adults should listen
and report to authorities.”
Gibbs remains in the custody and will be sentenced on Feb. 18, 2022.

TEXAS HOLD ‘EM
Two men from Texas were placed under
arrest in Stroud after they allegedly shot at
members of a rival motorcycle gang on October 9, sending a man to the hospital.
According to the affidavit, a security camera from a convenience store, located in
the 700 block of N. 8th Avenue, captured
the shootout on video. Three motorcycles
pulled up to the gas pumps. Two men in the
group were wearing vests associated with a
motorcycle club.
A short time later, another motorcycle
pulled up to a gas pump. He was also wearing a vest associated with a motorcycle
gang. He walked toward the other riders. As
he approached them, 57-year-old Jeffrey
Lee Battey, pulled out a pistol and started
shooting at the man, who appeared to be
unarmed.
More motorcycles entered the parking lot
and the victim ran from the scene. Battey
continued to shoot at him.
Battey and another man, 52-year-old Ray
Arnold Allen, also fired at the incoming motorcycles. The three original motorcycles
then left the area and headed toward the
turnpike.
A state trooper located the motorcycles
near I-44 and the Kellyville exit.
Battey had two firearms in his possession.
One of them, a silver colored revolver, had three spent cartridges in the
chamber.
Allen also had a loaded firearm in his possession, along with five spent
9mm cartridges and one spent 45-caliber cartridge.
Allen told police that they stopped at the convenience store off the Turner Turnpike. He said a group of individuals from a different motorcycle club
shot at them. He also admitted to firing a round toward the rival bikers.
Allen is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and two
counts of feloniously pointing a firearm. His bond was set at $200,000.
Battey is being charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon
and assault with a dangerous weapon. His bond was set at $250,000.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on January 20, 2022.

A Guthrie businessman was arrested last month
after the remains of his employee was discovered
near Crescent.
According to OSBI, on October 21, the remains
of Brent Mack, 50, of Guthrie, was reported missing to the Guthrie Police Department on September 29, 2021. Family members told officers he was
last seen in Guthrie near 1st Street and Cleveland
on September 20, 2021.
The Guthrie Police Department requested the
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation assist
with locating Mack.
The investigation led law enforcement, including the OSBI, Guthrie Police Department, Logan
County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to the location of the recovery.
After recovering Mack’s remains, 66-year-old Daniel Joseph Triplett of
Guthrie was arrested without incident at his residence. He was transferred
to the Logan County Jail and faces charges related to Mack’s homicide.

We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

TWO MEN IN CUSTODY AFTER
OCTOBER 1 BREAK-IN
Two men have been arrested in connection
with the October 1 break-in of a residence on
Backhaus Road in Logan County.
Jesse Eugene Bramlett, 45, was arrested
on October 13, and is facing one count of
Murder in the First Degree, one count of Burglary in the First Degree and one count of
Burglary in the Second Degree. He remains
in the Logan County Jail.
Myklayn Lynne Day, 35, was arrested on
October 20 by the U.S. Marshals west of Yukon. After his arrest, Day was transported to
the Canadian County Jail and is facing the
same charges as Bramlett.
At 2:30 a.m. on October 1, Logan County
dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from a homeowner reporting that he had shot an intruder
inside his home on Backhaus Road near
Guthrie. The homeowner heard multiple people breaking into the home, got his gun and
fired in the direction of the intruders. After firing shots, the homeowner called 9-1-1 and
Logan County deputies responded to the
scene. Upon arrival, deputies found 44-yearold Trini Louise Salazar inside the residence
with gunshot wounds. Salazar died at the
