When Duncan woman Brittney Nicole Matta, 27, was
caught trying to break into a residence, she lied and gave
police her sister’s name.
Unfortunately for her, her accomplice slipped and called
her by her real name.
On November 29, shortly after 9 a.m., a Duncan officer
went to a residence in the 400 block of North E. Street to
investigate a burglary in progress. According to the affidavit, the victim said someone was trying to break into her
backdoor -- she believed the suspect’s name was Brandy.
The suspect left before the officer arrived, but he spotted
her getaway vehicle at the intersection of First and Beech.
The van stopped at a driveway in the 300 block of North
First.
The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with
the women inside. The passenger was identified as Matta.
Well, she told the officer her name was Brandy.
The women said their friend lived at the residence they were at, but the people inside had
no clue who the girls were. While they were talking, Matta told the officer she had knocked on
the victim’s door to check on her. The officer then overheard the driver call Matta “Brittney.”
The officer asked the woman what her real name was. She told him it was Brandy.
She was lying, and Brittney had two outstanding Stephens County warrants and one Duncan warrant. She was arrested and transported to jail.
The victim told police she first made contact with Matta when the woman asked to use
her phone. Matta also asked her for a ride. When she gave the woman a ride, she said she
returned home to find the back screen and glass broke on her door, and some meds were
missing.
A few days later, she heard her cellar door slam. She grabbed her gun and noticed that
someone was prying at the plywood that was on her broken door. She looked outside and saw
Matta run toward the front of the house and jump in a van.
The victim said shortly before the attempted burglary, she received a text from an unknown number. The person asked if she was home. She told them no, because she wanted to
see who was breaking into her house.
Matta is being charged with false personation. Her bond was set at $100,000, and she is
scheduled to appear in court on January 13, 2016.

A Waurika woman gave a Comanche homeowner quite the
fright when she barged into her house wearing nothing but a
bra and panties on December 10.
29-year-old Tiffany Nicole Walker refused to leave the victim’s home -- she then assaulted a nurse.
According to the affidavit, a Stephens County deputy was
dispatched to a vehicle accident on CR 2740 approximately ½
mile south of state Highway 53 at approximately 9:53 p.m. He
couldn’t find anyone in or around the vehicle, but dispatch advised that a fellow officer was on another call that was probably
connected to the accident. Apparently, a woman had broken
into the reporting party’s home and was refusing to leave.
When the officer arrived at the residence, he saw Walker
wearing nothing but her undergarments. She refused to speak
to police.
The victim said she was watching TV when she heard someone knock on the door. She
looked outside and saw the scantily clad woman standing on her front porch. She told Walker
to go to the neighbor’s house for help.
The victim then left the living room and tried to call her neighbors. When she walked back
into the room, Walker was sitting in a chair.
The woman said Walker seemed to be upset. She tried to cover the burglar up with a blanket, but Walker told her, “No.”
The victim then left her home and went for help.
Once she was in the patrol car, Walker kept yelling out numbers and profanity, and spitting
in the backseat. Officers took the woman to the hospital so she could be medically cleared
before being placed in a cell. They left her with hospital workers while they collected a urine
sample from the woman, but Walker wasn’t having that. She kicked and scratched a nurse
and told her, “I will f--- you up!”
The woman was soon released from the hospital and placed in a jail cell, where she would
be unable to f--- anyone up.
Walker is being charged with battery upon emergency medical care provider and breaking
and entering dwelling without permission. Her bond was set at $20,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on February 17, 2016.
It’s not that warm!

A 29-year-old Duncan woman was
taken into custody on November 26
after police found evidence that she
tried to hire someone to kill her parents.
According to the police report, a
Stephens County deputy opened a letter that was addressed to an inmate.
When he saw the contents, he called a
district attorney investigator for backup.
The author of the letter asked the inmate for help. She said, “My parents
don’t respect me and treat me like an
a--hole child.”
The author said she wanted to hire someone to kill her parents for
$500. She said she would go to a friend’s house, and she wanted the
assassin to go to her parent’s house dressed in all black.
She told the inmate, “I need some peace in my life and someone’s
gotta die for the rest of us to live. Please, it’ll be easy. If not, I will
find a guy.”
The return sender on the envelope was 29-year-old Raquel Marie
Sanchez. She elegantly signed the letter, “Love Raquel.”
The intended recipient of the letter told the officers that she met
the suspect while in jail.
Police went to Sanchez’s residence and met with her parents. Her
parents said she wasn’t at home, but they agreed to speak to the officers.
Sanchez’s mom was “startled” and “shocked” when she saw the letter, but admitted that her daughter had assaulted her several times
in the past.
Sanchez’s stepdad told police the same thing.
Sanchez is being charged with two counts of attempted solicitation
of murder in the first degree. Her bond was set at $1,000,000, and
she is scheduled to appear in court on January 13, 2016.
Sanchez arrested for

SANCHEZ
8 | january 2016
What you’re saying
about this on...
Tifani P: I think 263 years is a little crazy.. Yes
he did very wrong. But you rape 36 women and got that many years. A military
man from where I’m from abused a baby until he later died and he got 15 years
for child abuse. Like what??? Are you serious. He is a very sick man and deserves
time. But that’s almost 3 life sentences... Priorities need to be set. A child can’t
protect themselves, and neither can a woman.
Leslie B: Unfortunately, he will be segregated from the general prison
population because he was a cop. If they had to worry about “prison justice” &
being afraid to close their eyes to sleep, perhaps a law enforcement officer might
think long & hard about abusing his or her authority…
Jim S: Law enforcement are suppose to keep a higher standard of living. If
a person is charged with a crime against a law enforcement official that crime penalty use generally more severe. The same standards should be equal for the trust
in the person enforcing the law is lost. So their penalty should also be be greater.
Lacie W: I think it’s odd that he was only charged on 18 out of 36 charges,
I also think it’s wierd that he forced that many women to do oral on him.... I’m
pretty sure if I was forced to do that id be biting as hard as possible. I’m not saying
he didn’t do the things he is being accused of but I do have a feeling a lot of women
jumped on the bandwagon on this.
Cynthia A: Cops are the biggest criminals out there, glad he is getting
his!!! I am praying karma over a cop in gravette arkansas , that little 5 foot, black
haired bastard. When he gets his I wanna see it!! I had an old Indian pray for him
something special.
Amy W: There going to love him in prison. He might see a little oral and
sodomy himself. Aka Karma
Janice M: Don’t abuse your position. He committed crimes against women. His punishment fits his crimes.
Eric R: As a retired police officer, I think he abused his power. He deserves
a little jailhouse justice.
Michael S: This cop is a shining example of why the public does NOT
trust the police. As a whole...The police would tell you that the actions of a few
should not cast a shadow on all the rest.. This IS a SYSTEMIC problem and will
NEVER go away as long as the police are allowed to police themselves. Personally I
feel that 263 yrs is over the top for a punishment for the corrupt activiety that this
cop ingaged in. It’s almost like a cartoon sentence. As a tax payer It just dosen’t
seem fair to pay for his incarceration for the rest of my life. I would feel better
about all this if he were only sentenced to say 5 yrs in prison... REAL hard time in
general population like a REAL criminal. The catch to the short sentence would
be that he gets to be raped against his will 263 times before his 5 yrs are up to get
out. Then be able to get out and work and live with a moniter on his ankle for the
rest of his life…
Daniel Ken Holtzclaw is a former Oklahoma City
Police Department police officer. He was convicted on
December 10, 2015 of multiple counts of rape, sexual
battery, and forcible oral sodomy. What do you think
about the verdict?
What do you think?
William H: Hes on sucide watch. Can enjoy his crime and the pain of his
victim’s but cant handle the time.. what a lil bitch
Jim W: The fact that he was acquitted on a few charges shows that the jury
looked at every bit of the evidence. Good verdict.
Shelley S: I agree. Police are there to protect and he broke that trust.
They should be held to higher standards when they break the law.
Roy D: Oh I’m sure those ladies weren’t perfect Angels yes he was wrong for
what he did but I’m pretty sure those ladies offered it and he took it . Again he was
wrong but he shouldn’t have gotten that tha harsh of a punishment.
Patty F: Shocked police seem to get away with everything including murder
Melissa A: This verdict signls to all cops that there ARE consequences to
their actions regardless of their badge.
Vaden M: He did the crime, he did the time and needs to rot in jail. Regardless of what his job was or how decorated his uniform was. He was found
guilty and was proven guilty. There’s many great cops, and there’s bad ones, too.
He was one of the bad ones.
Christina A: I feel some people like to put their opinion out there BEFORE they know the facts!!!! True victims are very hesitant about publicly sharing their stories and it’s about JUSTICE and HEALING!!! Not $100,000 law suits
against the city!!! I guarantee no amount of money well make a true victim feel
better!!!!
Norma A: Was real proud of the court system, there are probably other
officers out there that are doing or have done the same thing. Believe me hes not
the only one. It makes you scared to trust the law inforcement. He needs put away
for good.
Dennis J: What would be a disgrace is if one of the women come forward
in 5 to 10 years and says he really didn’t do it, just look at them women why would
he want any of them women especially the last one just saying

fta shooting w/ intent to kill petty larceny leaving scene of accident
involving damage
Tuttle man Ronnie Gene Cooley, 59, pissed off his neighbor
when he rammed his vehicle into the side of his house. Cooley
said he was just drunk and doing some donuts in his yard.
On December 1, a Grady County deputy was dispatched to
the residence shortly after 7 p.m. A man said Cooley just ran
into the side of his house, and if officers didn’t get there soon,
he was going to shoot the man.
According to the affidavit, the deputy found Cooley standing beside a vehicle that had crashed into the side of a trailer
house. The owner of the trailer said he was in his living room
when Cooley drove into his wall, tearing down kitchen cabinets and pushing the gas stove into the middle of the floor.
When he walked outside to see what the heck was going on,
he found his neighbor standing by the vehicle.
The deputy placed Cooley and handcuffs and took him to
the patrol car.
Cooley said, “That’s once, that’s twice.”
The deputy asked Cooley what he was talking about, but he probably wishes he hadn’t. The
man replied, “I just dropped two turds in my pants.”
They continued to walk to the car. Cooley added, “That’s three, now four turds in my pants.”
Cooley’s girlfriend told the deputy she didn’t see anything, but the vehicle definitely belonged to them.
When she saw the damage that her man caused, she started screaming at him through the
window of the patrol car, asking him why he crashed into the house.
The deputy noticed donut marks in the grass and advised Cooley that he was under arrest.
The man replied, “Sorry. I did not mean to crash into [the neighbor’s] house. I was just doing
donuts in the yard.”
He continued to apologize on the way to jail and said that he “had way too much to drink.”
Cooley said he was just doing donuts in his yard, but he would pay for damage.
The turd-droppin’ donut-loving man is being charged with malicious injury to property
under $1,000 and acts resulting in gross injury. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is
scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2016.

Chickasha woman Tammy Rochelle White,
50, told police she wasn’t sure why she tried to
steal some DVDs from Walmart on December
1. After all, she had $1,000 on her.
Chickasha officers were dispatched to the
store in the 2000 block of S. First Street at
approximately 11:50 a.m. According to the affidavit, an employee caught White trying to
commit a crime while paying for other items.
The employee told police he saw the woman
checking out at a register in the jewelry department. She thought she was being sly by hiding some DVDs out
of the cashier’s sight.
White tried to place the DVDs in a Walmart bag while she bought
other stuff. She then tried to leave the store, but she was caught!
An officer asked the suspect if she wanted to talk about the incident. She said no. She was placed under arrest.
Police found a pill bottle on the woman that contained pills identified as two different narcotics. In White’s purse, an officer found
five smoked cigarettes. One of the cigs smelled like marijuana. Sure
enough, it tested positive for weed.
The officer also found a driver’s license, social security card, and a
credit card with another woman’s name on it -- the items had been
reported stolen on August 14.
White told the officer that she had found a wallet with the items in
it two days before, and she planned on mailing it back to the owner.
Police viewed security footage from the store, and they watched
as White put the DVDs into a bag without the cashier noticing. She
then walked past the other registers with $53.36 worth of unpaid
merchandise in her bags.
White told police she had $1,000 in cash on her. She said she didn’t
know why she just didn’t pay for the movies.
White is being charged with possession of controlled dangerous
substance, knowingly concealing stolen property and larceny of merchandise from retailer. Her bond was set at $5,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on January 6, 2016.

Chickasha man Rabboni Ruben Granadoz allegedly put on
a mask and attempted to rob a local convenience store with a
knife in his hand on November 20.
When an employee screamed, however, he took off running.
According to the police report, a Chickasha officer was dispatched to the store in the 700 block of South Third shortly
after 9 p.m. An employee told him that a masked man dressed
in all black tried to rob her with a knife.
Police found the suspect, identified as Granadoz, at the
intersection of Oregon and Eighth. Granadoz told an officer
that he had just left his friend’s house. The officer explained
that he fit the description of a masked robbery suspect. When
the officer asked Granadoz if he had a mask on him, he admitted that there was one in his pants.
The officer found the mask, along with a knife sheath.
Granadoz said he dropped the knife while walking down Oregon. He continued to deny that
he stopped at the convenience store.
The officer asked him why he was so sweaty -- Granadoz said he was ready to get home, so
he ran.
After more questioning, the man finally copped to trying to rob the store. He said he needed
money because he and his family are going through hard times, so he put a mask on and
walked to the store.
Granadoz said he walked up to the clerk and showed her his knife. The employee screamed
like any normal person would do. This was enough to sent the would-be robber running away
empty handed.
While they were talking, Granadoz said that the knife he said he dropped was actually
tucked into his pants. The officer found the weapon in the bottom of Granadoz’s left pant leg.
Granadoz is being charged with assault while masked or disguised, assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted robbery with a weapon. His bond was set at $100,000, and he is
scheduled to appear in court on February 24, 2016.
