Tulsa man does donuts in motel parking lot, swerves at manager

TULSA, Okla. – A man was arrested on July 19th for attempting to run over a motel manager at Western Inn at 11th and Sheridan.

Officers responded to the scene after reports of an assault with a dangerous weapon.

According to the motel manager, Robert Kubica of Tulsa was spotted driving around the motel parking lot.

Tulsa police said Kubica was spotted “doing donuts at a high rate of speed.” As a result, the squeals of the vehicle were causing major disturbance to motel occupants.

The manager reportedly asked Kubica to vacate the premises. Instead of leaving, TPD reported that the suspect chose to drive and swerve around the parking lot at a high speed.

Rather than leaving the premises, Kubica allegedly swerved right at the Western Inn manager.

The manager reportedly had to “jump out of the way,” according to police. Additionally, Kubica almost ran right into a parked car.

When officers responded to the scene, they were able to locate the suspect parked right across the street from the motel.

Kubica was arrested at 12:55 AM and booked into the Tulsa County Jail at 1:37 AM for an assault with a dangerous weapon. His bond is set at $7,000.00.
