MURDER CONFESSION IN CONNECTION TO THE FIRST HOMICIDE OF THE YEAR IN TULSA

TULSA, Okla. — After being arrested in Arkansas earlier this month in connection to the death of Sarah Maguire, Brinlee Denison and Nicholas Johnson have returned to Tulsa county. They have been charged with 1st-degree murder and vehicle larceny.
Johnson has already confessed to the murder of Maguire. He admits that he and Denison are in a relationship and that Denison was also in a relationship with the victim. Johnson also confessed that this relationship between Denison and Maguire made him jealous, so therefore he planned the murder of Maguire with Denison. (Tulsa Police).
Johnson admits to beating the victim and that after doing so, he and Denison had sex in the victim’s bed as she was nearby, still struggling for her life.
Johnson also admitted that afterward, he and Denison took the victim’s car and credit card and fled to Arkansas. Johnson told police that Denison drove the majority of the way there and disposed of the clothing the two had been wearing at the time of the murder (NY post).
No court date has been set for either of the suspects.
