OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Tuesday afternoon, an Oklahoma City police officer made a routine traffic stop that resulted in the vehicle fleeing from the scene.
During the stop, the driver was not cooperating with the officer and was asked to step out of the vehicle. (Kfor).
The driver still did not cooperate and decided instead they would flee the scene. In the process of doing so, the driver backed into the officer’s patrol car, before ultimately leaving the scene.
The patrol car received very little damage, and the officer was not injured as he was not in the car at the time.
The police do have the suspect’s identity, but he has yet to be found yet. The suspect is wanted on a minor traffic charge, as well as suspicion of assault and battery on an officer according to officials. (Kfor).
