OKC woman arrested after a 48-hour crime spree

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.(News 9)— In late June, police say the OKC Rockport Neighborhood was the target of a 48-hour crime spree.

Residents reported multiple burglaries and stolen jewelry during the unusual string of events.

The suspect is 21-year-old Megan Brewer-Cook, who was caught on video footage entering multiple houses.

In one video, Brewer-Cook broke in through the doggie door. In another, she removed the screen from a window and climbed in. In the most bizarre footage, she left bloody footprints on the floor of another home which remains unexplained.

Brewer-Cook was arrested on June 29 when Oklahoma City officers responded to the scene after the suspect was seen ramming her car into residents’ mailboxes.

Jailbirds has reached out to the arresting officer, MSgt. Gary Knight, for more information, but has not received a response regarding this story.

Brewer-Cook was arrested on four complaints of home and vehicle burglary along with attempted burglary. She was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
