Denton, Texas- A man was arrested for “prowling” near South Lakes Park.
Shaun Korpela was arrested after the police received four calls around Woodbrook Street about a man who exposed himself to a woman, growled at a man, and peered into a window of another man.
Authorities said the man fled the scene after each incident, however, officers found him early Monday, February 21st.
Korpela was locked up at 6:30 a.m. into the Denton City Jail. He was charged with disorderly conduct. At the moment it is unclear if he could face additional charges or whether he has an attorney.
According to the Denton police’s twitter, the man raised concerns among residents in the area and they “hope everyone can rest a little easier tonight knowing the suspect has been taken into custody”. (Dallas News)
