Unidentified felon found passed out with recall ballots, drugs, driver’s licenses, and a weapon in a vehicle

TORRANCE, Cali. — Torrance Police Department is investigating how a felon came into possession of more than 300 recall ballots for the upcoming gubernatorial election. 

On August 16, the unidentified suspect was found passed out in a vehicle with a loaded weapon, methamphetamine, Xanax, stolen mail, and multiple California driver’s licenses and credit cards in other people’s names (KFOR). 

The U.S. Postal Service and Public Integrity Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office are working alongside Torrance PD to investigate how the man received these ballots and what his plans were for them (Yahoo). 

Police say that the suspect was arrested for numerous narcotics possession, weapon, and forgery charges. 

Police officials stated that this was an isolated incident.
