Waukesha parade attacker, identified as aspiring rapper “MathBoi Fly,” has a lengthy criminal record

Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, described by Billboard as “an aspiring rapper,” plowed his car into a Waukesha Christmas parade in suburban Wisconsin. Brooks killed at least six people at the parade and injured over 40. 

According to Billboard, Brooks has a lengthy criminal history, charged with 16 crimes, including impregnating a minor and strangling a woman. His record includes two outstanding cases, “one in which he was accused of deliberately running down a woman with his vehicle.” (Billboard)

Brooks, also known as MathBoi Fly, had a YouTube channel presenting his rap that has recently been taken down. The U.S. Sun gathered some of his lyrics for songs such as “Gon Kill U.”

Some of the lyrics included “Sliding through the city with no safety on,” along with “f*** Donald Trump and f*** the pigs.” (The U.S. Sun) According to Fox News, one of Brooks’s music videos was filmed at his home where he is seen standing In front of the same SUV believed to have been used when he plowed through the Christmas parade.

In his mixed tape found on datpiff.com, he raps, “ I push the gas on you n**gas…”

According to Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office, Brooks’s bail is set for $5 million, and he is charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
