EDMOND, Okla. – 18-year-old Coby Blake Stechmann is in trouble after he allegedly set up a hidden camera in a teen girl’s room.
The victim’s parents found the camera, which contained footage of the girl fully nude, in her closet.
According to reports, the girl’s mother noticed the camera in the corner of her daughter’s room – it was concealed by a sock.
Although the camera wasn’t on when the woman found it, she plugged it in and found five videos of her daughter.
Some of the videos were more than an hour long.
The woman told police that she believed Stechmann was the culprit since some of the footage showed him going into the girl’s closet and placing the camera in the room.
Due to the footage on the camera, the mom believed Stechmann put the camera in her daughter’s room on February 15.
Stechmann had been staying with the family for a few months at the end of 2020.
The victim told police that Stechmann had often told her how pretty she was and how he wanted to date her.
She said that he never tried anything physical with her, however.
Stechmann was arrested on a complaint of using photographic/electronic equipment to record in an illegal manner.
