TULSA, Okla. — Around 6:30 p.m. on February 9th, officers responded to a call involving human remains found in the backyard of a home near 54th W. Ave. and Charles Page Blvd.
The owner of the home let a neighbor, who was searching for her cat, into the backyard where she snooped around the ruins of a shed that had burned down last September. As far as we know, she didn’t find her cat, but she found the human remains of a male homicide victim.
In their investigation, detectives identified Devin Scrivner as a suspect, and on the morning of February 14th, they found Scrivner in west Tulsa hiding under a bed.
Scrivner confessed to being involved in the crime last fall and admitted he knew the shed was burned down to cover up the homicide.
Although Scrivner was arrested for 1st Degree Murder, the investigation is ongoing, and detectives expect there to be more arrests in this case.
`The male victim’s identity has not been released but will be once the family is notified.
