Husband rushed to surgery after getting run over by his wife

TULSA, Okla. — Earlier this week, Tulsa officers responded to a residency on 4th and Sheridan after receiving a call from a woman stating that she ran over her husband.

Firefighters were already on the scene by the time Tulsa police arrived. What they found were firefighters exercising “life-saving measures on the victim.” (Tulsa Police Department)

The victim had to be rushed to the hospital to undergo immediate surgery.

During the investigation, authorities found that Lacey Maxwell and her husband have a domestic violence track record, Lacey generally being the aggressor.

According to Tulsa police, witnesses have provided statements of Lacey threatening the victim’s life. Lacey was arrested for Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon. The suspect’s bond is set at $500,000.00.
