ONE BODY TURNS INTO 3 BODIES, MOTIVE UNKNOWN

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Okla. — An Oklahoma man was arrested last week on three counts of first-degree murder. The 61-year-old was arrested after calling the authorities from a casino and admitting to the crimes. The bodies were found the week prior on his land. Robert Lewis is charged with the ruthless murders of Deanna Tippey, Quinley Lamb, and Brian Shackleford. Lewis was arrested at the Casino and wanted to turn himself in.
All three of the victim’s bodies were found in a shallow grave on Lewis’ Eldon property. According to investigators, Lewis’ girlfriend was strangled to death, Lamb was beaten to death, and Shackelford was stabbed with an unknown sharp object. Lewis admitted to killing Shackleford and Lamb on his birthday, Jan. 16th, and Tippey was killed later.
Authorities state that Lamb was related to Lewis and her body was the first body to be found. Cherokee County District Attorney Jack Thorpe informed reporters he may pursue the death penalty against Lewis. Investigators are planning to return to Lewis’ property in search for additional graves. A motive for the killings is still to be determined. (Source: People)
