Creature of habit
The FBI is investigating a robbery of
the Yukon National
Bank at 235 S. Yukon
Parkway in Yukon in
which the robber was
wearing a very strange
disguise.
At approximately
10:55 a.m. on December 10, an unknown
male entered the bank
wearing a mask and
what appeared to be a
nun’s habit. The subject was pointing a black semi-automatic weapon and carrying a gray duffel bag as he approached the teller counter. The
subject pointed the weapon directly at tellers, ordered them
to put their hands up, and demanded money. The teller complied with the demand and placed the money in the gray duffel
bag. The subject exited the bank with an undisclosed amount
of money and was last seen departing the bank in a black fourdoor vehicle with chrome wheels.
The subject is described as a white male, early 20s, 5’6” to
5’8” tall, slender build, light brown hair, wearing gray sweatpants, and a black shirt or jacket. The subject was wearing an
old woman mask and what appeared to be a nun’s habit, carrying a gray duffel bag and black semi-automatic pistol. No one
was injured in the robbery.
This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Yukon
Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to
call the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may
remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the
identification, arrest, and/or conviction of anyone robbing a
member bank.

Eighteen-year-old Brittany
Phillips was a student who
was taking courses at Tulsa
Community College and was
days away from her 19th
birthday. She was described as a
bubbly, happy person who had
no known enemies, the type of
girl who always kept in contact
with family and friends and was
always responsible, taking her
school work seriously. So it was
surprising when she suddenly stopped showing up to TCC
and couldn’t be reached by phone.
On October 1, 2004, after a couple days of missed classes,
a concerned friend decided to stop over Brittany’s apartment
at Union Apartments, where she was living alone. She walked
into a horrifying scene, Brittany’s decomposing body. She
had been laying there for several days.
The last time anyone had contact with Brittany was on the
evening of September 27, 2004. Sometime during the latenight hours of 09/27/04 and the early-morning hours of
09/28/04, an unidentifi ed man was in her apartment. It is
unknown if he was invited in or broke in. She was assaulted,
raped and then strangled to death and he left her bruised and
battered body lying on her bed in her second fl oor apartment.
Since her murder, authorities have interviewed MANY
people and have compared thousands of DNA with no luck.

Hello to all, and Happy
Holidays! By the time you read
this, you will have probably made all your holiday travel plans, if
you are going somewhere, or have people coming to your home to
celebrate. The roadways will be extra busy, and with a lot of people
traveling at the same time, the chances for accidents also go way
up. I’m going to give a few tips on how to minimize your chances
of being involved in an accident, and some ways to help insure your
holidays are safe.
Every year, we work a lot of accidents on people who are “running
late”. Speed plays a major role in accidents, as well as the severity of
an accident. Speed decreases reaction time, which a driver needs to
be able to react to anything that happens in front of them. What is
the best thing you can do to not be “running late”? Simply plan your
holiday travel a little in advance. You know what time you and your
family get off work, or get out of school, so plan your departure time
accordingly. Give yourself plenty of time for delays, bathroom and
snack stops, etc. Also, if you are running late, its OK! The people
you are going to see would rather you be late, than not arrive at all
because you were involved in an accident.
Another major factor in holiday accidents are a result of
celebrating, and then making a bad decision. I’m not going to tell
you not to enjoy your holiday, and if partaking in some egg nog or
other alcoholic drink is part of your celebration, that’s fine. Just
don’t decide to drive after you drink. Drinking and driving is a
decision, not an accident. Planning here goes a long way towards
a safe holiday. If you know you are going to drink, plan on staying
where you are, or have a designated driver.
Another thing you can do to stay safe is wear your seat belt. The
accident may not be your fault, and you may be doing everything
right, and could still end up in the hospital or worse, because you
didn’t have your seatbelt on. Even minor accidents can cause
significant damage to us if we are not properly restrained. Every
Trooper on the road has worked a fatality accident which we all
know in our heart would not have resulted in death had the person
been using a seatbelt. It takes no time to put on, but it may be the
most important thing you can do this holiday season.
To sum up, slow down and enjoy the holiday season! Plan ahead,
and use a designated driver or stay put if you use alcohol in your
celebrations. No one wants to spend the holidays in a hospital or
worse!
Holidays are for celebration, so lets take care of ourselves and
each other. Thanks for listening, buckle up and drive safe.

December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention
Month, a time to raise awareness about the consequences of
driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Get the Facts
• Every day, almost 30 people in the United States die in motor
vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol- impaired driver. (Source:
CDC)
• In 2010, there were 431 alcohol- related motor vehicle fatalities
in Ohio. (Source: Ohio DPS)
• Of drivers tested, 1/3 of fatally
injured drivers in Ohio tested
positive for drugs from 2005-2009. (Source: NHTSA)
Drugged Driving Prevention
• All drivers must understand that drugged driving is as dangerous as drunk driving and
that driving under the influence of certain prescription medications is considered impaired
driving.
• As with a drunk driver, never ride in a car with a driver you suspect is under the influence.
Drunk Driving Prevention
• Designate a sober driver before celebrations begin.
• Never serve those under the age of 21 alcohol.
• Plan safe parties, including providing non-alcoholic drink options to guests and not
serving alcohol the last hour of the gathering.

I don’t know
my ABC’s…
A Blair man was arrested after he was
involved in a single car collision while
driving under the influence of drugs.
According to the affidavit, an Oklahoma
Highway Patrol trooper was dispatched to
Interstate 40 in Custer County on report
of a single vehicle collision on Nov. 29.
When he arrived, he was advised that a
woman and two children had been taken
to a hospital by ambulance. A Clinton police officer was on the scene with the vehicle and the driver, Travis Cody Parham,
26.
The trooper observed that the vehicle
appeared to have been driven into the center median and crashed
into the cable barrier.
The officer told the trooper that he believed the driver was intoxicated. The trooper noticed that Parham was unsteady on his feet. He
instructed Parham to have a seat in his patrol car while he gathered
information about the collision.
Once inside the patrol car, the trooper smelled the strong odor of
an alcoholic beverage. Parham told him that he had fallen asleep and
ran into the cable barrier.
Parham’s speech was thick and he was slurring his words; Parham
also appeared lethargic.
The trooper asked him how much he had had to drink and Parham told him three shots. Parham randomly told the trooper that he
would take the blame for it, or whatever.
The trooper asked him what he meant and if he was drunk. Parham insisted he was not drunk, even though his eyes were red and
watery.
The trooper conducted sobriety tests, and on one of the tests, he
instructed Parham to write the letters of the alphabet starting with
the letter E. Parham wrote, “ E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, M, O, P, P, R,
S, T.”
It was obvious that either Parham was intoxicated, or he had received a very poor education as a child.
The trooper chose the former and placed Parham under arrest.
He agreed to take a breath test; the test confirmed that Parham was
intoxicated.
Neither of the children were injured in the collision, and the woman in the vehicle sustained some cuts and swelling to her face.
Parham is being charged with aggravated driving while under the
influence of alcohol and child endangerment while driving under the
influence. He is being held on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to
appear in court on Jan. 3, 2014.

Craigslist crazy man
Anthony Brinkman, a 32-year-old Missouri man, was jailed Nov. 1
after he allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist seeking an individual who
would be willing to rape his daughter while he watched.
According to St. Louis Police, an investigation was launched after
Brinkman posted an ad on Craigslist seeking an individual who would
be willing to have sex with his 11-year-old daughter while he watched.
Someone who saw the ad clicked the “report abuse” feature on the
site, and the report was forwarded to the Missouri Internet Crimes
Against Children Task Force.
Investigators say a female undercover officer posing as a 27-year-old
woman responded to Brinkman’s ad and discussed his request.
Brinkman reportedly told the officer that he was looking for someone
who would engage in sex with his daughter using various sex toys. As
the conversation continued, Brinkman told the officer that he wanted
her to be his girlfriend and planned to participate in the assault.
Brinkman agreed to meet the undercover officer at a nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant. If all
went well, Brinkman planned to bring the officer to his home where the assault was to take place.
When Brinkman showed up at the restaurant, officers were surprised to see that he brought
the little girl with him. After Brinkman’s arrest, his daughter was released into the custody of
other relatives.
A search warrant was then served at Brinkman’s apartment in Cuba, Missouri. Investigators
are awaiting the results of a forensic examination of his computer.
He was booked into jail and charged with attempted statutory sodomy. He remains held in lieu
of $100,000 bond.
The case remains an open investigation and additional charges are expected.

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma Department of Human Services to impact the huge
social problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they
have a chance at a productive life. Children have the right to get
support from both parents and do not lose this right when a
parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children,
taxpayers often pay the cost of raising children. When children
receive public assistance and their parents pay no child support,
all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

An Elk City man and Afton
woman were locked up after police found that they were stealing
items from Walmart.
According to the affidavit, Elk
City police were asked to be on the
lookout for a green convertible
because it was used by suspects
that had passed fraud checks at
Walmart earlier that month.
On Nov. 28, police located the
vehicle at Walmart. They watched
as a subject came out of the store
and placed an item in the vehicle.
The suspect vehicle left the
store, and an officer pulled the
vehicle over.
The officer made contact with
the driver, James Darrin Coniglio, 34. Coniglio told him that
his license was suspended. The
officer told Coniglio that he had
pulled him over on suspicion of
passing stolen checks at Walmart.
Coniglio told the officer that he
didn’t know what he was talking
about. The officer asked Coniglio
if everything in the vehicle from Walmart was paid for.
Coniglio handed the officer two receipts and gave the officer permission to search the car. The officer found two
30-packs of beer; the receipts only had one on it.
In the passenger seat, the officer found items under
33-year-old Natasha Sue Hensley’s feet, including candles,
a screwdriver set, a makeup bag and two OU mugs.
Hensley told the officer she had received the makeup bag
at a party, but the bag still had Walmart tags on it.
Hensley did not have any receipts for her items.
The officer transported the couple to jail and advised
Walmart of the stolen items. Employees produced security
footage that showed the couple stealing the items.
At the police department, the officer conducted a search
of Coniglio’s vehicle. He found a large amount of clothes
and personal items, a bag that contained used syringes and
plastic baggies with a white reside that tested positive for
meth, and a Co2 pistol. According to the affidavit, Coniglio
is a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess the item.
Hensley is being charged with knowingly concealing stolen property. She is being held on a $15,000 bond.
Coniglio is being charged with possession of a controlled
dangerous substance, possession of firearms after conviction or during probation, knowingly concealing stolen
property and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
They are both scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19,
2013.

“Be of sober spirit,
be on the alert. Your
adversary, the devil,
prowls around like a
roaring lion, seeking
someone to devour.
But resist him” (I Peter
5:8-9).
Everything was going
well for you. Money in
your pocket. You wanted
to spend it. You knew
how to spend it. Your
choice was a sobering
experience.
The Bible says you
have an enemy who
wants to destroy your
life. To trap you. Your
choice was a bad one.
You had a wreck. Picked
up for possession. You didn’t control your anger. The roaring lion
caught you. You failed to “resist him”. Deceived.
The devil catches people by getting them to think, “It’ll be OK!”,
when it isn’t OK. You were devoured! It doesn’t need to happen
again. Seek God and you will find Him (Acts 17:27).

The key to your freedom
On Friday, October 18, an Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against
Children Task Force member from the Edmond Police Department
arrested Stephen DeWayne Huckeba, 52, at his residence. The case
was initiated by an Edmond detective into the distribution of child
pornography on the Internet. Huckeba distributed more than a
dozen child pornography videos to the detective.
Task force members from the Edmond Police Department,
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Attorney
General’s Office, with the assistance of the Logan County Sheriff’s
Office, served a search warrant at Huckeba’s residence, 200 East
Rock Circle Drive in southern Logan County.
During the search of the residence, several computer-related
items were located and seized. Huckeba admitted to the Edmond detective that he distributed
and possessed child pornography images and videos.
The computer items will be taken to the Edmond police computer laboratory for forensic
examination. The case is still under investigation to determine if any local children are in any
of the images.
Huckeba was booked into the Logan County Jail and is charged with one count of
distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and
violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

What you’re saying
about this on...
Valerie W: R.I.P Prayers go out to
the family.
Shawna A: THOUGHTS FOR
THIS FAMILY .
Jay A: Sad.
Janae Marie H: PRAYERS
Brittany W: Why do we have
such lenient laws for drinking and
driving?!? This man needs LWOP at
the minimum! This poor boy and his
poor parents. I can’t even imagine....
Jerry D: Things like this makes me
wonder why alcohol is legal, but other
way less dangerous things are illegal.
Sabrah B: No im not a weed
smoker but I know ppl. But why is
this legal? How many accidents or
deaths caused of alcohol? A lot! Now
how many accidents or death has
weed caused? Answer that one. This
world is getting way outta hand. My
heart hurts for this family I couldn’t
imagine. Prayers for this boy and his
family!
Jerry D: Not only the dangers
of drinking and driving,but health
related damage and mental and
physical abuse. Alcohol hurts
thousands a year. Yet its legal. Weed
on the other hand helps people, no
reported deaths or ODs, but yet its
illegal. Makes perfect sense.
Desiree H: Very sad. What was
he doing riding his bike at 11:00pm.
That man should’ve been driving and
that little boy should’ve never have
been out that late riding his bike. He
should’ve been at home in his pj’s.
Everyone dropped the ball on this
one.
Jerry D: Most parents now days
could care less what there kids are
doing as long as they don’t bother the
parents. Sad indeed.
Jennifer R: I was wondering the
same thing. I hope that he was coming
back from something at school or
church, not just running the streets
at that time. So sad for the family. I
hope they find justice
LittleWeasel W: But wait
according to folks who love to get
drunk. Alcohol has never hurt anyone.
Virginia I: No blame except for the
person who hit the child, A family has
lost a son,brother,grandchild,friend
May God protect and cover this family
in this awful time
Ruby H: Billy was riding his bike
home from a church event called
eternal fraternity. It’s something for
kids to do on Friday and Saturday
nights.
Amy S: Who gives a sh** what
the boy was doing out that late. For
Christs sake, is it the parents fault
now that he was allowed to leave
the home? For buying him a bike?
What about what his brother had to
witness? How his parents feel? You’re
first thought is “why was he out
that late”? Pathetic. Really pathetic.
Tragedy happens everyday and people
are always looking for someone to
pass the blame to. God bless everyone
involved in this tragedy.
Abe T: A life has been taken and
all you people can worry bout why he
was out late the real ? Why was the
man drinking and driving the kid
could have been in another car and
the man driving drunk could still
have killed that kid by hitting another
vehicle this a little kid who didn’t
know he was gonna die riding his bike
home but the man knew drinking and
driving could kill someone and it
did so think about that you heartless
people if it was your kid you wouldn’t
be saying things like we’re was the
parents news flash kids get hit by
people driving drunk during the day
too
Dustin K: judgemental a** people,
i swear.... it doesnt matter what the
kid was doing. his life is over and you
people wanna blame his parents?
Stephanie S: Where in this story
does it say he was riding a bike? It’s
horrible to hear ANOTHER person
has lost a life due to stupidity...but
where am I missing the bike part?
Taken too soon
A 12-year-old Wagoner boy was killed Nov. 9 by a driver suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Chief
of Police Bob Haley said the boy was riding home with his
brother when he was hit by an SUV.
Haley said the two brothers were northbound on North
Story Avenue near N.E. Ninth Street just before 11 p.m. Billy
Lord, 12, was struck by a northbound SUV driven by Richard Roth of Wagoner.
Roth left the scene but later returned, Haley said.
The other brother was not injured.
Haley said Roth, 34, was booked on anticipated charges of manslaughter
and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. Any other charges will
await the results of a blood test, but police do have reason to suspect alcohol
is a factor, he said.

Police out helping keep the streets clean arrested
a man suspected of stealing a street sweeper.
According to Sacramento Police, offi cers out on
patrol near Truxel Road and Brewerton Drive saw
a street sweeper truck peel out of a parking lot and
onto the street.
The truck promptly ran a red light – and didn’t
have its headlights on – prompting the offi cers to try
and pull the street sweeper over. However, police
note, the driver pushed on and didn’t stop until he
had hit three parked cars. The driver then bolted
from the truck.
A police perimeter was set up in the area, but
the suspected driver – 18-year-old Lavonn Dill –
eventually surrendered himself to a K-9 offi cer.
Dill now faces charges of fl eeing, possession of a
stolen vehicle and hit-and-run charges.
A Florida man who was doing a mean-spirited
Santa Claus impression might be spending Christmas
behind bars after getting caught in the chimney of a
Naples, Fla., home during an attempted burglary.
Richard Tyler Brandon, 25, got trapped in a
chimney after running out of cash during a night
out. His friend, Derek Grenfell, alerted two Naples
police offi cers about the situation after it became
apparent Brandon was stuck.
A team of police offi cers and local fi re department
offi cials broke into the home and saw Brandon’s foot
hanging in the fi replace.
“I said, ‘Dude, you’re not Santa Claus, what are
you doing?’” Grenfell reportedly said to the police.
It took two hours, but Brandon was freed from the
chimney and taken to the hospital for treatment of
issues including leg pain and trouble breathing. It
could have been worse.
“There is a chance he could have died,” said
Naples Detective Robert Young. “That space he was
jammed into was really tight. He couldn’t move.”
Brandon was hit with two burglary charges and
Grenfell was charged as an accessory to the crime
after the fact.
A Vero Beach, Fla., man who was angry with his
wife left a phony bomb on a kitchen counter, an
Indian River County Sheriff ’s Offi ce spokesman.
Randolph Smith, 51, was arrested on charges of
aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, planting
a hoax bomb and resisting arrest without violence.
Deputies received a call from a woman who said
her husband left a gray pipe with a wire protruding
from one end on the kitchen counter. There were
several hand-written notes on the counter, including
one that read, “This is (an) explosive. (It’s) a bomb.”
Smith’s wife told deputies she is in the process of
getting a divorce.
The bomb squad was called and determined that
the device didn’t contain any explosives.
Deputies tracked Smith down at a Burger King
and arrested him. During questioning, Smith tried to
leave the interview room and had to be handcuff ed,
according to the arrest report.
Smith told detectives that he left the hoax bomb
on the counter because his wife “pissed him off .”

Man arrested after
argument turns violent
A Watonga man was taken to jail after he
admitted to assaulting his girlfriend during a
physical altercation.
According to the affidavit, a Watonga police
officer was dispatched to a Watonga residence
on Nov. 27, in reference to a disturbance.
When the officer he arrived, he made contact
with Anthony Lee Person, 27, who told him
that he had been arguing with his girlfriend.
Person said the woman had taken off walking
after the fight.
The officer located the girlfriend at a nearby
convenience store. She appeared to be excited and was crying. She
told the officer that her boyfriend had assaulted her after a verbal
argument at their apartment.
She explained that he became angry after he saw a number he believed belonged to a male friend in her cell phone. During the argument, the woman said she was gathering some things to leave and
Person grabbed her from behind and strangled her. She said she was
able to escape and went to the convenience store to call the police.
The officer noticed that the woman had fresh red marks on both
sides of her neck. According to the affidavit, the officer believed the
marks to be evidence of the woman being strangled.
On Nov. 28, the officer was on patrol when he saw Person standing
outside of his apartment building. He asked him about the assault
from the day before. Person admitted to getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend, but said it was because she was intoxicated,
and he did not want her driving while drunk.
He said he grabbed her from behind and accidentally slipped into a
chokehold, strangling his girlfriend. He added that his girlfriend had
kicked him and struck him with a piece of doorframe.
The officer placed Person and transported him to jail.
Person is being charged with assault and battery by strangulation.
He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in
court on Dec. 19, 2013.

A Dill City woman and Hobart man
are behind bars after they were caught
selling drugs in Washita County.
According to the affidavit, on Nov. 21,
investigators met with an anonymous
source who told them that the source
had been in contact with a man named
Bradley Dayrold Davis, 30. The source
said that Davis was willing to sell methamphetamine.
Investigators with the drug task force
and Washita County deputies met to
make a controlled purchase of meth
from Davis.
The source said Davis was going to
send a friend to sell the meth, and that
the source was told to meet the friend at
an oilfield location. The source believed
that the friend was Davis’s girlfriend.
Officers met with the source. They
searched the source’s vehicle and gave
the source a recording device and money to purchase the meth. They followed
the source to the oilfield location and
watched as the source approached a
red truck. The source spoke to the occupants of the vehicle and left the location. The source handed an investigator
a bag that contained methamphetamine.
Officers pulled over the red truck and detained the driver and
passenger, Angeline Julia Guzman, 18. In the truck, officers found
more baggies that contained meth, scales, and a meth pipe with
residue.
With cooperation from the driver, a call was placed to Davis.
Davis agreed to meet with the driver. When he arrived, he was arrested by investigators.
Davis is being charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled
dangerous substance. He is being held on a $250,000 bond and is
scheduled to appear on court on Jan. 28, 2014.
Guzman is being charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled
dangerous substance, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (meth), unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent
to distribute, unlawful use of communication facility, bringing contraband into jail and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
She is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear
on court on Jan. 28, 2014.
