HAPPY HUMPDAY!
A typical Wednesday afternoon in Stillwater
was greatly disrupted by a 31-year-old man
who led police on a pursuit through Stillwater
on January 26.
Eleven vehicles were involved in collisions
as a result of the pursuit through the city, and
one officer was sent to the hospital with injuries sustained while trying to stop the suspect.
According to reports, the Stillwater Police
Department Special Project Unit first met the
suspect during a traffic stop. At some point
during the stop, the suspect, later identified
as Carlos Javier Lopez, drove away from the
stop, initiating the pursuit.
Officers sped after the man as he drove
south on Western approaching Sixth Street. During the pursuit, Lopez forced
several other motorists to drive off the road, ramming into other vehicles. Four
of the 11 cars that were hit during the chase were police vehicles.
The officer was injured when he performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention on
the suspect. He was able to briefly stop the suspect’s vehicle.
As other officers approached the scene, Lopez rammed into two police
vehicles while trying to get away.
Reports state Lopez had two outstanding felony warrants out of Ochiltree
County, Texas. He also had a felony ADW on an officer warrant out of Osage
County.
Lopez is being charged with attempting to elude a police officer, two counts
of running a roadblock, and seven counts of assault, battery or assault and
battery with a dangerous weapon, all after the former conviction of a felony.
He was scheduled to appear in court on February 1, 2022.

ARRESTS MADE IN MURDER INVESTIGATION OF MIDWEST CITY MARINE
On December 22, agents from the Oklahoma

arrests in the murder investigation of Daniel Aaron. Search warrants were served this morning
on two residences that resulted in the arrests
of Steven Roberts, 55, Virgil Nelson, 67, Larry
Ramirez, 51, and Conner Buntz, 33. Roberts
and Nelson were arrested for Murder in the First
Degree. Ramirez and Buntz were arrested for
Accessory After the Fact. All four are members
of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.
Aaron, 33, was riding his motorcycle in the
area of Highway 62 and 3300 Road near Harrah
on September 12, 2021. He was shot while
traveling east on Highway 62. Aaron was transported to the hospital in Midwest City where he
died.
Roberts was arrested during a traffic stop
in Moore. Nelson was arrested during a traffic
stop in Oklahoma City. Buntz and Ramirez were
arrested at Buntz’s residence in Choctaw. All
four were taken into custody without incident
and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
Multiple agencies assisted with this investigation including the Lincoln County Sheriff’s
Office, Moore Police Department, Oklahoma
City Police Department, District 21 Task Force,
Attorney General’s Office, Oklahoma Bureau of
Narcotics, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the

LARGE METH TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION DISMANTLED IN TULSA
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN)
and Broken Arrow Police Department have
dismantled a large methamphetamine trafficking organization as part of a six-month
cooperative investigation. OBN Spokesman
Mark Woodward says the case was initiated in July of 2021 after receiving information
about individuals moving large quantities of
meth into Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Sapulpa.
“During the investigation, OBN Agents and
Broken Arrow officers uncovered evidence
that this organization was transporting anywhere from 50 to 100 pounds of meth into
the Tulsa area from Anaheim, California on
a monthly basis. The person orchestrating
these shipments was identified as Clint Raymond Johnson of Tulsa.” ---Mark
Woodward, OBN Spokesman
On Thursday, December 16th, OBN and Broken Arrow officers served 25
Arrest Warrants throughout the Tulsa area for individuals tied to the investigation, including the main target, Clint Raymond Johnson (DOB 08-18-1989).
A total of 25 pounds of meth was seized, along with several weapons during
the course of the investigation.
“I am extremely proud of the diligence and determination displayed by our
Agents and our partners with the Broken Arrow Police Department. They
worked nights, weekends, and over the Thanksgiving holiday to secure the
evidence and ensure a solid prosecution for those responsible for putting this
poison onto our streets.” ---OBN Director Donnie Anderson
The defendants face a variety of charges, including Distribution and Trafficking of Methamphetamine. The Tulsa Police Department and the Oklahoma
Highway Patrol assisted OBN and Broken Arrow Police with vital components
during the investigation.

MOUNDS MAN SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON PLUS 10
YEARS FOR FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN INDIAN COUNTRY
Kyle Quentin Sago, 32, of Mounds, was sentenced January 27 in federal court for fatally shooting a man the day they renewed an old friendship,
announced U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.
U.S. District Judge Gregory K. Frizzell sentenced
Sago to life in prison plus 10 years.
In September, a federal jury convicted Sago of first
degree murder in Indian Country, two counts of felon
in possession of ammunition; and causing death by
using and discharging a firearm in the commission of
first degree murder.
At the sentencing hearing, Morgan’s young
daughter told the court her father was kind, nice, and
that everyone relied on him. She said she missed his
laugh and him being at her birthday parties. Other
family members said they would never understand
why Morgan’s friend would kill him, especially after Morgan saved him from a fire,
and described the difficulty they endured after losing him. They thanked Judge
Frizzell for his handling of the case and asked that Sago be sent to prison for life.
When imposing the sentence, Judge Frizzell explained that there seemed to be
no explanation as to why Sago committed the murder except possibly for Sago’s
long history of drug use, calling methamphetamine a scourge. He reminded Sago
of the tragedy caused by his actions not only for the family but also for Sago himself.
On July 25, 2020, Officers from the Tulsa Police Department were notified of a
shooting that occurred within the Muscogee Nation reservation. A witness, victim
Daniel Morgan’s girlfriend, identified Kyle Sago as having fired the shots that killed
the victim.
At trial, Morgan’s girlfriend explained that she woke up at about 3:30 pm the
day of the crime and saw Sago visiting with the victim. Morgan introduced Sago
as a good friend. She noticed burns on Sago’s arms. Morgan explained that he
had saved Sago years ago from a fire at a meth lab. She said the two continued to
exchange stories and visited.
After Sago left, the victim lay down for a nap because he had been working
the night prior. Morgan’s girlfriend then heard multiple Facebook Messenger calls
to the victim’s phone while he was asleep. She noted that Kyle Sago initiated the
calls.
The witness stated that Sago soon returned to the residence in a white sedan
When she stepped outside, he demanded to speak with Morgan about “business”
and she should wake him.
When Morgan walked outside, the witness stated that she heard multiple gunshots. She moved to the door and witnessed Sago shoot at Morgan approximately
four more times from the white sedan as the victim retreated around to the side of
the house.
Other witnesses called 911 and ran to assist. Morgan’s girlfriend also assisted
and called the victim’s mother. She further cooperated with authorities in identifying
Sago as the shooter. Daniel Morgan sustained four gunshot wounds and died at
the scene.
Several witnesses who saw the crime occur confirmed the suspect shot from
the same white sedan and continued to drive and fire at the victim as he ran for
cover.

MAKING THINGS WORSE
Hinton woman Loren Ashley Holman, 33, is
facing two charges of assault and battery after she allegedly attacked a teen girl and her
mother on the evening of January 23.
According to the police report, a Lincoln
County deputy was dispatched to a residence
in the 500 block of McLaughlin in Sparks. The
caller reported that someone had assaulted a
17-year-old female and her mother with a knife.
The 17-year-old was life-flighted to a hospital
in Tulsa due to serious injuries sustained in the
attack.
When the deputy arrived at the location, he
was informed that the suspect, identified as Holman, had left the area in
her vehicle.
A woman at the location told the deputy she had driven Holman’s vehicle to the location. She had been staying in a hotel room in Oklahoma City
when Holman told her she was sleeping in her car. The woman said she
invited Holman to stay with her.
A few days before the incident, she and Holman went to the address
where the assault occurred so she could spend time with a man. The only
people at the residence were the woman, Holman, and the man.
After they left, the man called the woman and told her Holman had stolen some stuff from the teen’s room.
The woman asked Holman about the allegations. Holman admitted to
taking three necklaces.
The woman said she wouldn’t let Holman get her things from the hotel
room until Holman took back the necklaces and apologized.
When they arrived at the home, the teen confronted Holman. Holman
handed back the jewelry, but the 17-year-old said she was still missing
some stuff.
At some point, Holman pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen several
times. She also cut the girl’s mom on the hand.
One of the teen’s friends saw the attack and told police Holman told the
victim, “Bitch, I’ll stab you.”
Officers arrested Holman in Oklahoma City – she had a knife in her bra.
There was also blood on the passenger’s side door.
Holman told an officer she was jumped when she went to return the
necklaces. She also said she had gotten into trouble before for stabbing
a person.
Holman is being charged with two counts of assault, battery, or assault
and battery with a dangerous weapon. Her bond was set at $10,000, and
she is scheduled to appear in court on February 24, 2022.

Awareness and Prevention Month
Being able to tell the difference between healthy, unhealthy and abusive
relationships can be more difficult than you would think. No two relationships
are the same, so what’s unhealthy in one relationship may be abusive in another. Although there are many signs to pay attention to in a relationship, look
for these common warning signs of dating abuse:

A former Logan County deputy is facing a felony
charge after the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) investigated allegations the deputy
had an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance on December 3, 2021 after
learning that former Deputy Christopher Andrews,
33, was having a relationship with a 17-year-old
high school student that was sexual in nature.
Based on the investigation by the OSBI, Andrews
was charged with one felony count of Engaging
in Sexual Communication with a Minor by Use of
Technology.
A warrant for Andrews’ arrest was issued January 20 and he turned himself in the next morning. His bail was set at
$50,000, which he posted and was bonded out.
