SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER 19-YEAR-OLD BURGER KING EMPLOYEE MURDERED

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -– 30-year-old Winston Glynn was arrested Friday in connection to the murder of 19-year-old Kristal Bayron-Nieves.

On Sunday, January 9th, Nieves was murdered at gunpoint while working at her job at Burger King in East Harlem. (CBS local

In a video released by the NYPD, you can see the suspect demanding the money inside the register from Nieves, with a gun in plain sight. The suspect is dressed in all black and had earphones hanging out their pocket, a detail that authorities said helped make their arrest. (FoxNews)

Glynn was seen in security camera footage before the shooting took place, with headphones hanging out of his pocket, making him a person of interest to the police. Glynn was then found and taken into custody.

Later it was found that Glynn had also previously worked at the same Burger King, but never while Nieves worked there. The suspect also has four previous arrests, making authorities believe that this was a planned-out event. (CBS local)

Glynn has been charged with first-degree murder and robbery and is being held without bail. (NYpost)
