A Stillwater man was arrested Jan. 18, after
police say someone saw him urinating on the
drive-thru menu at McDonald’s.
According to the affidavit, a Stillwater officer
was dispatched to the restaurant in reference to
intoxicated individuals outraging public decency
by relieving themselves on the menu.
When the officer arrived, he spoke to the men,
who both became argumentative and said that
they did not urinate on anything. It was apparent that both men had been drinking, but 20-year-old Thomas
James Ansolabehere became extremely hostile.
He allegedly began waving his hands close to the officer’s face, inadvertently striking him in the face several times. The officer warned
Ansolabehere to calm down and told the men that they would receive
citations and would have a court date to contest things.
Ansolabehere continued to be hostile toward the officer, however,
and due to his slurred words and the fact that he smelled like alcohol,
the officer placed him under arrest.
Ansolabehere resisted arrest by pulling away and tensing up. A
struggle between the two men ensued and another officer assisted in
getting Ansolabehere in handcuffs.
The officer asked Ansolabehere is he had any identification. He directed the officer to his rear pocket, where the officer found a Pennsylvania license. Dispatch was unable to locate a record for Thomas
through Pennsylvania.
Ansolabehere admitted that the Pennsylvania ID was fake and his
real California license was in his wallet.
Since witnesses were unsure as to which man had been urinating
on the drive-thru menu, neither was charged with outraging public
indecency.
Ansolabehere is being charged with resisting a law enforcement
officer, public intoxication and possession of fraudulent identification. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear
in court on Feb. 13, 2014.

Another New Year has come,
and with it, millions of people
have made resolutions to improve some aspect of their lives. Some
of these resolutions are doomed from the start for a multitude of
reasons. Even though successfully sticking with and accomplishing
a New Year’s resolution goal may not seem to directly relate to
driving safely, I’m going to try and give some tips on increasing
your ability to stick to a resolution, and tie it in to how it could
actually make you a safer driver!
Some of the more popular resolutions are to lose weight, get in
shape, or quit smoking. Each one of these are great goals. So to
achieve a goal, a person must clearly define the actual goal. For
quitting smoking, that one is pretty clearly defined as it is. For the
other, some more clarity is needed. How much weight do you want
to lose? How long are you giving yourself to get there? Once you
define these goals and time lines, write them down somewhere! Put
them somewhere that you are reminded of them each day. Make
sure your goals are reasonable, and attainable. It won’t do any
good to set goals that are unrealistic!
Next, we need to write down how exactly we plan to accomplish
our goals. For smoking, are you going cold turkey, using the patch,
or incrementally cutting down how many cigarettes you smoke a
day until you aren’t smoking at all? For losing weight, write down
your workout program, and schedule. Write down your diet goals
and track it religiously. Try to find someone who will join you in
your workouts and diet. Having someone to count on and someone
counting on you is a great support system for you in your efforts.
Last, tell as many people as you feel comfortable. Get people on
your side to support you, and hold you accountable to your goals
when you have moments of weakness! Believe in yourself! Have a
positive attitude about what you are trying to accomplish.
So how do accomplishing these goals help you be a safer
driver? Studies have shown that people who exercise and eat
right have sharper mental focus. Since a significant percentage
of accidents are caused due to inattention, improved focus will
obviously pay off while driving! Exercise will help improve handeye coordination, which is a big positive while driving! A healthy,
smoke-free body minimizes the risk of heart attack and other
medical issues that could be tragic anytime, not just behind the
wheel.
So there you have it. Successful accomplishment of some of
the most popular New Year’s resolutions will not only have you
slimmer, healthier, and happier, but can have an impact on your
ability to be a safer, courteous driver! Thanks for reading, buckle
up, and be safe!

Michael Wilson
Michael Lee Wilson was
pronounced dead at 6:06 p.m. on
Jan. 9, 2014, by lethal injection,
for the murder of his co-worker,
Richard Yost.
Michael Lee Wilson and Richard
Kevin Yost were employees at the
local Quik Trip together. Wilson
planned to rob the store with Billy
Alverson, Darwin Brown and
Richard Harjo two weeks prior to
the murder. Shortly after Yost began
his shift on Feb. 25, 1995, Yost was
surrounded by Wilson, Alverson,
Brown and Harjo. Yost was dragged
to the back room where he was beaten to death by an aluminum
baseball bat. Following the beating, Wilson took money from the
store’s safe and cash registers while helping several customers
check out. All of these actions were seen by Quik Trip’s surveillance
tapes.
Shortly after Wilson’s arrest, Wilson’s mother called the police
and directed them to evidence of the robbery that was located at
her home. Police also found the safe and other materials from the
robbery at Alverson’s house.
Prior to this case, Wilson was an accessory to murder in 1995.
While Wilson was in custody, he committed assault and battery
upon another inmate and got into several fi ghts with inmates.
“Michael Lee Wilson was sentenced to death by a jury of his peers
for the heinous beating of Richard Yost, who was simply doing his
job,” Attorney General Scott Pruitt said. “My thoughts and prayers
are with Richard’s family and friends.”

Reports of crime in the neighborhood
can make one feel uneasy. The affected
community may work to rebuild
its sense of security by hiring more
police, improving street lighting, and
imposing strict curfews. In addition
to this, community efforts to reduce
poverty and provide better educational
opportunities for all community
members can help eliminate crimes of
desperation and strengthen the fiber of
the community.
To eliminate crime entirely, wouldn’t
we also need to address other issues
that cause criminal behavior? Wouldn’t
we need to address things such as
dishonesty, disrespect, greed, and hatred that seem to come from
within individuals? As Jesus pointed out, “Evil thoughts come out
of the heart” (Matthew 15:19 New International Reader’s Version).
To end criminal behavior, we need to reach the heart of people with
the healing touch of divine Love.
Jesus’ life, recorded in the Bible, shows us how to love as God
loves. This spiritual love changes people’s hearts. Knowing that
God is only good and is the true Father and Mother, the governing
Principle, of all humanity, Jesus looked beyond the erring human
personality to discern the pure and perfect spiritual identity of an
individual. Jesus loved – deeply appreciated and acknowledged –
this true identity. When he met Zacchaeus, a corrupt tax collector,
Jesus loved him as God had created him, looking beyond his corrupt
behavior to perceive reality – Zacchaeus’ honesty and uprightness
(see Luke 19:2-8). This perfect love reached the heart of Zacchaeus
and changed his behavior. He pledged to return the money he had
taken unlawfully, recompense for the wrong he had done, and
reestablish his life on an honest foundation.

February Is Teen Dating Violence
Awareness and Prevention Month
During this month, and at all times, parents need to be aware of
the issue of teen dating violence. For as much as domestic violence
among adults is an issue that is too often not discussed -- and too often kept a secret by the victim -- teen dating violence is even less discussed, and even less reported by victims. Nevertheless, in a recent
survey of over 4,000 9th through 12th graders, one in five reported
being physically and/or sexually abused by a dating partner.
The sad fact is that two out of three teens in an abusive relationship
don’t ever tell anyone about the abuse. For girls, when they experience serious sexual abuse they only report it to an authority figure six
percent of the time. This makes it very difficult to know when your
teen has become a victim of dating violence.
Still, there are warning signs that every parent and teacher can and
should look for. Because teenage years are difficult (and secretive)
enough as it is, it’s important to be aware of these warning signs, and
to approach your teen in a way that will make them feel comfortable
talking with you.
For more information, contact your local DHS.

By Lori Fullbright,
News On 6
A former Rogers County Commissioner who spent time in prison is in
trouble with the law again.
Deputies arrested Randy Baldridge
on Jan. 7.
Tulsa police say a witness has accused Baldridge of picking up runaway
boys and giving them drugs, sometimes
in exchange for sexual favors.
Someone else told police that Baldridge had given him methamphetamine and he later woke up naked in a
field.
TPD turned over the investigation
to Rogers County since the allegations
were centered there.
The Rogers County THUG task force
took him into custody. They say he had
a 16-year-old runaway from Tulsa with
him at the time.
The two were at a Rogers County
home where deputies say they found syringes in the boy’s backpack that tested
positive for containing methamphetamine.
Deputies say they got permission to
search Baldridge’s vehicle and found a
glass smoking device, several syringes
and a silver spoon, all with a white,
powdery substance on them that also
tested positive for meth.
They say all this was found less than
200 feet from the Tiawah Elementary
School.
An affidavit says
Baldridge admitted
supplying teenage
boys with meth, but
he first claimed he
bought it as a way to
keep the boys from
going into those
kinds of places.
It says he originally denied using
meth himself, but later admitted, with
tears in his eyes, that he did use it.
This appears to be a long downward
spiral from where Baldridge was when
voters elected him to be a Rogers County commissioner.
However, in 2007, a federal jury
found him guilty of money laundering,
mail fraud, obtaining money by fraud
and other counts and a judge sentenced
Baldridge to 37 months in federal prison.
The sheriff says when Baldridge was
released from prison, he came back to
Rogers County, got a job and things
were quiet until his office received these
recent complaints.
The affidavit says a second teenage
runaway boy has been at Baldridge’s
home many times, for long periods of
time, but he was dropped off at a Tulsa
house and deputies are still searching
for him.
Baldridge

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma Department of Human Services to impact the huge
social problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they
have a chance at a productive life. Children have the right to get
support from both parents and do not lose this right when a
parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children,
taxpayers often pay the cost of raising children. When children
receive public assistance and their parents pay no child support,
all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

A Mannford woman with mud on her face and a taste for donuts was arrested at a local gas station after employees say she
appeared to be under the influence of some type of intoxicant.
On Jan. 9, Mannford police were dispatched to the gas station to check on a woman with mud on her face that had been
standing at the counter for approximately 20 minutes. The clerk
told an officer that she believed that the woman was under the
influence of some type of intoxicant and that she had asked the
woman to leave the store several times, but the woman was incoherent and wouldn’t leave.
When the officer arrived, he saw the woman that matched the
description, mud on her face and all, leaning on the counter eating a donut with her eyes closed.
The officer made contact with the woman, later identified as Kortney Jo Kelso, 23, and
asked her if everything was OK.
She opened her eyes and told him that she didn’t know he was there. She told him that her
car was broke down and she was waiting on a ride.
The officer asked her how the mud got all over her. Kelso started rambling about how the
police towed her car and that her mom was right, she needs help.
The officer asked, and received consent from Kelso, to search her purse.
He found synthetic marijuana, a smoking pipe with a burnt residue and a case that contained two cut off straws with a white powdery residue, which later field-tested positive for
meth.
The officer transported Kelso to jail, where he asked her when she had last used drugs. She
told him that she had smoked the synthetic marijuana the day before and smoked the meth
last week.
Kelso is being charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance
and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on an $11,000 bond and is
scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21, 2014.

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Field Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI), is providing the following public service announcement:
The public is advised there is currently a fraudulent
phone and e-mail scam targeting Oklahoma utility customers. Customers have received phone calls from individuals claiming to be with the utility company’s billing
department. The caller advises the customers they have a
past-due balance, and if they do not provide credit card or
bank account information, their service will be remotely
terminated.
Customers have also received e-mails stating their bill is
now available and that the amount owed is past due. The
e-mail instructs customers to click on an embedded link to pay the past-due bill. The public
is advised this is a fraudulent phone and e-mail phishing scam.
This type of fraudulent solicitation is not unique to utility companies, and similar scams
have been attempted using banks, government agencies, and numerous other legitimate
businesses. Individuals should not provide any information or click on the embedded links.
Individuals who receive suspicious or unsolicited phone calls or e-mails should contact their
service provider or the involved business directly to verify the validity of the request.

FALSE REPORTING OF CRIME
A Guthrie man was arrested when police found him passed
out after he had been out with his “battle buddy” the night
before.
According to the affidavit, a Guthrie police officer was on
patrol Jan. 22, on Lake Road, when he saw a car parked
straddling the parking divider on the north side of Guthrie
Lake Park’s boat ramp.
He approached the vehicle and saw a man, later identified
as 22-year-old Brian James Bradley, asleep in the driver’s
seat with his seatbelt on and his key in the ignition. The vehicle was not running, but there was condensation from the
exhaust under the tailpipe, indicating that the vehicle had recently been idling.
The officer knocked on the window and woke up Bradley.
Bradley told him that he had been out with his battle buddy
the night before and had come to the ramp to watch the sunrise. He said he must have
passed out; he denied consuming any alcohol.
The officer noticed that Bradley had red bloodshot eyes and that there was a strong masking odor of perfume coming from inside the vehicle.
The officer checked Bradley’s information through dispatch, and when he returned to
Bradley’s car, he asked him to exit.
Bradley began fumbling with something that he appeared to be hiding from the officer’s
view. He placed whatever he was trying to hide in his pocket and exited the vehicle.
The officer asked him to empty his pockets and Bradley pulled out a narcotics pipe. Bradley then told the officer that there was another pipe in his hoodie pocket. Bradley said that he
was using the pipes to consume K2 and that there was a bag of K2 in the vehicle.
Another officer arrived to assist and stood with Bradley as the arresting officer searched
the vehicle. He found many illegal items including a blue grinder containing a loose green,
leafy substance, seven pouches of synthetic marijuana, two baggies containing a green leafy
substance and two empty bottles of beer.
Bradley is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance within
1,000 feet of a park, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and actual physical control
of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was released on a $3,500 bond and is
scheduled to appear in court on March 27, 2014.

Police arrested two Shawnee men after they broke into a
man’s house to fight him after he called one of them a punk.
According to the affidavit, the victim went to the Lincoln
County Sheriff’s Office to make a report about the burglary on
Jan. 13. He told police that he had two friends spending the
night and around 4 a.m., a knock on the door woke them up.
The victim said he looked out the peephole in the door and
saw Eric Lee Lack, 23, a man he knew through a friend, but
who had never been to his house before. He said he opened
the door and saw another man, 24-year-old Trey Glenn Goodnight, standing with Lack.
The victim said Lack told him, “You have two options, take
an ass whooping or give me everything worth money.” Lack
told the victim that this was because the victim had called him
a punk three days earlier.
The victim said he didn’t call Lack a punk, but the men
barged in the residence. He said he tried to call 911, but Lack
took his phone.
The men continued to threaten him and loaded up the victim’s X-box, which was in the victim’s car. The victim said
when the suspects requested his X-box controllers, he went
back to his car, jumped in the driver’s seat and backed out of
the driveway, striking the suspects’ car.
The men left and the victim said he went to Meeker to look
for police but was unable to find any officers.
Police located the suspects. Goodnight agreed to speak to
them and told them that they had gone to victim’s residence
so Lack could fight the man that called him a punk. He claimed
they never entered the house nor took any of the victim’s possessions.
Police asked why the victim had been in such a hurry to leave the residence. Goodnight
said it was because he did not want to get beat up.
Both Lack and Goodnight are being charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and interference with emergency telephone call. They are both being held on $50,000
bonds and are both scheduled to appear in court on March 6, 2014.
